Ranger Prestige classes

Advice

As the headline suggests i am looking for suggestions on a prestige class for my ranger who primarily uses a bow. i was leaning toward nature warden but just wanted a second opinion. thanks.

Straight ranger works fine for archery, getting access to the Instant Enemy spell and generally buffing your favourite enemy bonus is what will help you most with dishing out damage in higher levels.

That said, arcane archer can be a decent PRC for bow users, though it requires a dip in wizard or sorceror and thus delays your BAB progression slightly. But it will give you the power to apply a number of enchantments to your arrows for free, and let you pick up a bunch of low-level arcane spells for utility.

Nature Warden isn't really a powerful PrC, especially if you want to go archery. Straight Ranger will serve you best, IMO.

Low Templar is flavorful one, Horizon Walker is an obvious choice, Nature Warden, I am not a huge fan of, but its certainly a choice. Pathfinder Delver is an interesting choice, and certainly viable. I also like a shadowdancer dip, combined with Dervish Dance and a Two handed style ranger makes for a low STR power attacking mobility machine.

Horizon Walker = Amazing. More Ranger gives you more feats though, which is really good for the Archer Builds.
