Hi all! I am one of the players that DM Immortal just mentioned. Thank you for the opportunity to join you. I have read back about 15 pages of the game thread and I really enjoyed everyone's RPing! With that said, I will be creating a witch doctor (witch class) named Jamba.

My play style involves being a part of writing a good story, collaborating with the GM and other characters. I have unprofessional experience in acting and I try hard to stay in character (this includes not reacting with my gaming knowledge). I hope Jamba adds enjoyment to the game. oh, and by the way, IMMORTAL - I'd like to be able to use my gloves of reconnaissance but Paizo nerfed the item (see the description I cut and paste into my profile under 'equipment' and then see the new description in the OGC at this link - which do you want me to use, and if the new one, which I'm not fond of, can I trade them in for a different item? or get credit back on them (I think Dhaavan made them for me, but I can't remember... maybe we found them? anyway - let me know.
Jiro, let's do this then. How about it's 5' per round of penetration with unlimited max (actually boosts it quite a bit and still 10 rds per day?) Basically that would mean to go through 15 feet would need 3 rounds of penetration out of the 10 you have daily. How does that work for you?

I on the other hand plan to have a strong silent type character, who will make a power play to be captain of the ship and have everything revolve around him... :)
No, seriously, I'm excited to join too. I'm really looking forward to playing my character (who's still got a few details in a bit of flux, though I plan to finish him up Wednesday) and hope he'll fit in well and be fun for everyone to interact with.
Mechanically, he's able to dole out some teamwork feats so I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on what would work best. Right now he's got Precise Strike (bonus teamwork): Whenever you and an ally who also has this feat are flanking the same the creature, you deal an additional 1d6 points of precision damage with each successful melee attack. I figure with what looks to be a crowded melee field, that made a lot of sense.
Other ones I considered (and could still take later) are Lookout, Shake It Off, Stealth Synergy, which basically let you potentially all act in a surprise round (if I can act in a surprise round, I could use my ability, which I think would let everyone within 30 feet of me get a surprise round action); get a bonus to saves for each ally you're adjacent too; or make us so we'd be super stealthy (we'd each roll, and take the best roll). That last one would obviously be an out-of-combat activity...
Similarly, I'm taking the marshal mythic path, which has lots of ally-boosting options. If there's anything there that you like, let me know (I took one that lets me use a mythic power to let someone else make an immediate attack).

I'm curious to see how this character plays. He's very not-optimized, I think, so we'll see how it goes.
Jamba offered to get them to open the door then the group bull rush. He has dim door to teleport himself and two others out or in. He would prefer to save it to teleport out so he has the spell to get some folks out if the poop hits the fan.
Any info you want me to share about the Mistress or just the vague stuff I've given them. Would I know anything about the layout of the place or a possible room their friend could be held in?
Yeah I have a few things you've picked up. Layout you don't know as you only saw the front room. She's quick and graceful and smart as a whip. She's also cruel but she doesn't seem to take pleasure in it...more sociopathic than anything else. You can give her this description of her: Zarskia wears a chain shirt of some shimmering silvery metal and has a pair of well made if strange looking, short heavy swords at her hips. Contrasting with her dark skin beautifully, she has multiple pieces of jewelry in gold and silver, rings, bangles, necklaces, and anklets adorn her.

I let the GM know, but in a bit of poor timing as we wait breathlessly for my introduction, I'm going to be away from my computer -- visiting my wife in St. Martin -- from Sunday through Thursday. I'll be back to posting on Friday, I expect.
