Background:

1) What is your characters name?

Jamba Mumbata

2) What does your character look like? (Age, height, weight, eye color, hair color, what kind of clothing does your character usually wear? What do they wear when unarmored?)

Jamba is 29 years old, 6'1” tall and 189 lbs (lean and cut). He is dark skinned, has black eyes, and long dreadlocks. He wears raggedy cloths including a long skirt and loose vest. Sometimes he wears a brown, hooded robe made of burlap. He is covered in tribal tattoos. He has bone rings in his ears and wears multiple strands of multicolored beads around his neck.

3) What do you see as your future goals?

Continue to grow in power and one day enter the Eye of Abendego. He is infatuated with it. His tribe believes it is a manifestation of Gozreh. He thinks he may someday be a powerful servant of Gozreh (immortal lesser deity)

4) What do you think is the best thing about you?

He is a great addition to an exploration party due to his flexibility. He is loyal to a group once he joins them. It is a personal code.

5) What is your biggest weakness?

He is neutral and often blurs social norms. He does not see torture and necromancy as evil. It is just an end to a means.

6) What is your greatest strength?

Crowd and mind control.

7) What is the most enjoyable thing you remember doing? What is the most significant thing you remember doing?

Fishing as a boy before his family was killed and he was press ganged to a pirate ship. The biggest event in his life was meeting Bobo, his sea snake familiar. The snake saved him from drowning after being tossed from a pirate ship and then brought him his powers.

8) How do you feel about your group members thus far? Are you paranoid, or weary about any of them? Do you respect any of them? Why?

He is laid back toward those he works for. He is looking for a job on as an expedition guide.

9) What would you like to know about each one of your party members (ie- how they got a scar? Have they ever been in battle? Have they ever lost someone they loved?)

What motivates them.

10) What makes you most excited?

The Eye! Power, treasure, ganja, having mental power over and controlling enemies

11) What do you enjoy the least?

Weakness. He was a weak, skinny kid (fishing village) when he was press ganged. He was unable to save his village from pirates. For over three years, he was a slave and forced to serve a group of pirates. He poisoned the food of the first mate, who daily whipped him, and ended up being thrown overboard near the Eye. He thinks he was not powerful enough to enter the Eye at that time, so Gozreh sent him Bobo to prepare him.

12) What do you fear the most?

Not pleasing the Eye and his guide, Bobo

13) Why do you think you’re here?

He is in between jobs. He is looking for a ship to travel home to the Mwangi Expanse so he can have the opportunity to grow in power.

14) Tell me about your past, where you’re from, your family, notable accomplishments or failures, any significant other relationships or jobs.

Born in a superstitious tribe in the Expanse. Grew up in a fishing village which worshipped Gozreh. He has spent the last 20 years on pirate ships. Involved in multiple expeditions through the expanse.

Curse it to weaken its resistance. Shut it down. Watch his companions slaughter it.

"Don't sweat da light stuff, mon!"

17) What is your worst memory?

The day his family & village were slaughtered by pirates.

Meeting Bobo (because he would no longer be weak and powerless)

He sees all other people as Gozreh's pawns. He could care less about different races.
