Congratulations to all the winners!

John Compton, Matt Goodall, Cassandra McQueen, Thomas McQueen, Kevin Navarro, Jason Nelson, Kyle Pratt, Nani Pratt, and David Woodfin managed to successfully answer 25 plus questions about the world of Golarion, Paizo staff, and various other bits of trivia! Everybody at the table won $50 in store credit, which is now added to your paizo.com account!

Congrats again!

I'd like to add my congratulations, too. This was the table I hosted. In years past, I used to compete in these trivia contests, but couldn't this year as I had to maintain impartiality in my role. That said, original members of the Best-Masters have been trying to win the trivia contest since Year Two (the original year of the banquet). They tied (along with the Brazen Strumpets) in giving the Razmiran Faith Barge crew a run for their money through a double tie-breaker. And even in the intervening years, they've always done really well, but come up just short.

This year, clearly, the secret to winning the contest was to have me be a non-participant in answering the trivia. That, plus, original Best-Masters like Kyle and Nani Pratt have grown tremendously in their Golarion and Paizo staff knowledge by becoming very active PFS Venture Captains. Some of the original Best-Masters couldn't make it to PaizoCon this year, but I'm certain they're all pleased to see the team done proud. It was a long 4-year struggle, but they came through in 2012 to take the prize. And it was a tough tie-breaker round this year, too.

Congrats, guys...you deserve it!

I'm so proud to have two of my locals at the winning table, along with VC Woodfin from Austin. Way to represent, Texas Pathfinders!

Thanks Liz and Neil! I think John brought a ton to the table... especially with that doozy of a last question.

And Neil, don't say it's cause you weren't there. Blame Greg :)

Well done, all! Special congratulations to Tom and Cass. Well done, David. Go Texas Pathfinders!

Fixed that, and thanks! You had several questions instantly that I had no clue on (those dang faction heads...) - was a blast playing with you guys!

Most of my teammates from year 1 have been snatched up by Paizo, and most of last year's #2 team couldn't make it, so we were lucky to just happen to sit with you!

Heh. That's a good rule of thumb. Always blame Greg. ;-P

Me, I was just along for the ride. I did chip in "Sarusan" to our list of continents, but I'm sure our peeps would have gotten it anyway. I had others I knew but so did they, so I had nothin' but a "good job" thumbs-up to offer. Those VC's were hardcore!

I might be the first person to win the PaizoCon trivia contest with two different teams, since I rode the Faith Barge on its final voyage to victory and now stood proudly with the Best (literally) team of 2012! Woo!

Spoiler:
But still, BRAZEN STRUMPETS 4 LIFE!!! :)

The FAWTL table still had the best name. :)

No question - that was awesome!

*blink*

After playing in a game with Majuba on Friday, I am not surprised that he was part of the winning team. Truly sir, your rules-fu is quite impressive. Kudos to you and the rest of your team!

Banquets Are Way Too Long will return next year though, so don't rest on your laurels! =)
