It's my going-away lunch for my current job! They're taking me out. Gonna get some garlic Parmesan chicken wings, fries, and a diet Dr. Pepper with lemon in it.
And next week I'll be getting a $14,000 raise. So that's nice too.

Two slices of homemade pesto pizza with chicken and sliced tomatoes; a watercress and tomato salad; a fresh peach; two fresh plums; a large glass of iced tea.
(I love my CSA Share this time of year!)
Bonus: Hal's Iced Tea Recipe:
Brew a cup of double-strength hot tea. (i.e. use two tea bags, steep for 2 minutes). While that's steeping, fill a glass that has twice the volume as your teacup with ice cubes. Pull out the teabags, and dump the hot tea over the ice. Stir.
Voila! Iced tea!
(N.B. I use a 12-oz coffee cup and a 24-oz glass mug.)

They're actually high in fats. As can be evidenced by my huge TV belly.

The last of the leftover homemade gazpacho, a pork pate sandwich on whole wheat bread, a banana, two granny smith apples, and a glass of water.
And I shouldn't have, but then I ducked out to the ice cream parlor three doors down for one scoop of coffee ice cream.
