Regarding flanked attacks of opportunity

Rules Questions

Lets say a monster is flanked, and wants to move to another part of the room and cast a spell. Do the attacks of opportunity attack with the +2 flanking bonus?

Attack of Opportunity:

Making an Attack of Opportunity:
An attack of opportunity is a single melee attack, and most characters can only make one per round. You don't have to make an attack of opportunity if you don't want to. You make your attack of opportunity at your normal attack bonus, even if you've already attacked in the round.

An attack of opportunity “interrupts” the normal flow of actions in the round. If an attack of opportunity is provoked, immediately resolve the attack of opportunity, then continue with the next character's turn (or complete the current turn, if the attack of opportunity was provoked in the midst of a character's turn).

I take the text I bolded to mean this order of operations:

1. Monster declares movement
2. Flankers take attacks of opportunity at +2
3. Monster moves from his initial square to the next square on his intended course.

Does this sound right? I just wanted to get a second opinion.

Yes, it is correct. Attacks of opportunity occur BEFORE the action that provoked them. If you are flanked before you move and that movement provokes an AoO then you are flanked when you provoke.

Thanks Gauss!

ROFLMAO funny Kybryn. Question is: is that a good thing or a bad thing? Honestly, when Im bored I do wander these forums because I learn something while Im doing it. However, it is something I do while multitasking a number of other things so it isn't like I am here constantly.

I used to do the same thing at school. I would tutor people in electronics in order to enhance my own understanding.
