Raxus was built in September of 2011. In that time I've been playing him pretty much continuously over the span of two games, discovered that I really love playing the big lug, and gotten literally nowhere in the plot of the Adventure Path. I've never read it, have no idea where the story goes, and it's driving me crazy!
Is there a GM out there willing to take pity on a poor Half-Ogre?

Thanks Ridge. Maybe if we put together a solid group someone will be willing to start a game for us.
Hell, between Bydar and Raxus that's the core party roles with an already great rapport.

I'll happily fill in as needed in terms of role. I have so many character ideas to explore that I'd pretty much take on anything. I hope we can get something together.
Hmm... Barbarian and potential Cleric, huh? I'd run a skill monkey. Rogue of some flavor, maybe? Otherwise I'm always up for a ranged blaster - Alchemist, Sorc, Wiz, something.
Put something together. No guarantee that a GM will pick us up, but if we present a strong group with a good dynamic it would probably be more likely.
I'd vote for a Wizard or Alchemist.

Can do. How did you make Raxus? Point buy? Dice? Did you average your cash or take max? Of course I can do some adjustments based on what a GM would like, but if I make him similar to yours there'll at least be some common organization for us to work from.
I'll make something before the weekend. I'll have to dig through the Wizard and Alchemist and decide what exactly I want to do.
Pretty standard.
20 point buy. 2 traits (one campaign trait, one regular). Max cash.

The advice below is from my experience on the board.
I found one way to start getting into games
was that you had to start a game yourself,
and the player connections it brings helps get into future games
and at the same time reveal your RP ability.
Well, both Kingmaker games I've been in died which is a shame because I really like all I've heard about it. Another two non-Kingmaker ones also bit the big one... but I managed to replace a few so I'm in three play by post campaigns total and having fun with them. In that respect, I should count my lucky stars.
Still, if a Kingmaker, Jade Regent, or Savage Skull opens up I'll probably apply. Many years ago all I did was GM for my local group. That was fun, but it's nice to be a player again. I'm newish to Pathfinder and getting the rust off me in general, but maybe in a few months I'll give running a PBP a try.
For now, I'm just glad to be a player again :)

Korgun Doomspray, Bridgette Valarios and Bastegar Swiftthicket are all characters that I only got to game with briefly, but I can attest to their skills as writers. Your game would shine with any of them in it.

I'm reopening this thread because since I made it, not one, but two more Kingmaker games have died.
I'm beginning to think this character might be cursed.
Bridgette and I, (and possibly Bydar) are once again looking for a GM willing to run a game for these characters. They really are fantastic, and at this point have a lot of built up personality.
We're obviously very dedicated (having been through the death of more than one game together now) and reliable in terms of posting rates. We write well, have rich, complex interactions, and as players we are easygoing and fun.
We're willing to start over as if we've never met, or make the previous games part of a backstory that ties us together as a group, or anything else that might be needed. Really, we just want to play.
Anyone willing to run a game for us, Kingmaker or otherwise?

My druid has just been passed up again for a kingmaker game. (I was the only druid applicant) at least I am active in several other games.
Well, we found a new GM already and will be recruiting for the Healer, Promary Caster and Skill Monkey party roles.
