If a PC is affected by a dismissal spell when they are on a plane other than their native one, where in their native plane to they appear? Solely GMs discretion, or is there a precedent for this situation?
i would think its random, i know of no rule for this
It doesn't say, so GM 's discretion. As a GM I'd usually have them appear at the spot from which they left on their planar journey, unless there were some reason to have them appear elsewhere. Youmight look at the rules for plane shift for some ideas, though.
