No, the extra damage from Point Blank Shot only applies to the target of a direct hit with a splash weapon (including direct hits from an alchemist's bomb).

No, the extra damage from Point Blank Shot only applies to the target of a direct hit with a splash weapon (including direct hits from an alchemist's bomb).
I still wonder about the other things that can add damage to a bomb. Do any of the following add to the splash damage?
-Deadly Aim-Weapon Specialization
-Half-Orc Favored Class bonus
-Inspire Courage
-divine favor

I still wonder about the other things that can add damage to a bomb. Do any of the following add to the splash damage?
-Deadly Aim
-Weapon Specialization
-Half-Orc Favored Class bonus
-Inspire Courage
-divine favor
The only one I could honestly see being intended would be the Half-Orc Favored Class bonus. The feature should simply be reworded from "minimum damage" to "1 per die plus Int bonus" if it was intended to not be augmented by any means.

Given the official response, I'm taking it as precedent nothing adds to the splash damage unless it specifically says it does.
PBS may be in a special category because it is a sort of distance based precision attack. Though not specifically called this. logically it feels much the same. If you are juicing the the explosive capability of your bomb some how, it would very much make sense to affect splash.
At any rate, this feat seems to be the exception to the normal rule "Splash damage from an alchemist bomb is always equal to the bomb’s minimum damage (so if the bomb would deal 2d6+4 points of fire damage on a direct hit, its splash damage would be 6 points of fire damage)." To say this FAQ means all sources of extra damage do not affect the splash is to say the FAQ released on the same day about two handed weapons in one hand for mounted lances means I can wield a spear in one hand unless it says otherwise in the description block for spear.
I think it obvious this rule applies to this feat only. Had they wanted it to apply to more, it would not have been hard for them to say so rather than singling this feat out for special attention.

But the rules DO specifically say. Specifically they say, "Splash damage from an alchemist's bomb is alway equal to it's minimum damage." There are no riders or exceptions to this listed. Adding +1 damage to a weapon damage roll, by definition, increases that weapons minimum damage. So by RAW Point Blank Shot should increase the damage of your bomb splash as should any other damage bump. The FAQ ruling actually goes against RAW and thereby confuses the issue even more.

Yeah, the FAQ is against RAW.
