Saw Blank Panther this past weekend. I think I've got a new favorite Marvel flick. I actually wished it were a bit longer.

There will be more during Infinity War, which will be out in April.

Hello all, I am a 34 year old lesbian who has been in a happy relationship with a woman for seven years. I've been an avid gamer since I was a child and discovered some old warhammer army books (specifically wood elves and the cool original Undead one, from before the Undead were a couple of separate teams) that lead me to the amazing first ed of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. I have been gleefully hooked ever since to roleplaying and if I had my choice I would spend 90% of my life in my head designing stories and campaigns for RPGs and the other 10% running them.
Pathfinder is my fav version of D&D (though I've come to appreciate the easy simplicity of 5th ed recently)as it feels like a version designed for max fun, an almost by the players for the players feel with plenty of awesome toys for the GMs as well, and I have been super excited about the release of the small, softcover rule books as they are much less of a pain to lug around and I find them fun to read in various positions (which is how I generally like to read, sprawled about), So you know, I'm buying the rule books up all over again.
Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to you all. =)

Sorry I didn't post much yesterday, got rear ended (and not in the fun way) so had to to deal with that, I'm okay though.
Hope everyone else had a great weekend, and glad you're liking the place Queen ^w^

Let me guess. You were stopped at a light. The driver behind you was distracted, probably by texting, and couldn't stop in time. How bad is the car's damage?

Uhh, no. They had break issues when we were slowing down off the highway. Mine seems to be fine, just cosmetic scuffing :3

It's horrible that it happened but paradoxically if there's a way for an accident to happen that's the much preferred one Instead of drunk off their ass, texting/sexting/phoning someone/doing their nails and or hair and or eating or drinking, etc, etc -- y'know, all the things you're NOT supposed to do while driving?
Recommendation, Rysky: Get yourself checked out and the frame of your vehicle if you can afford it. My mom was rear-ended years ago, thought she was fine, turned out she bruised her back and aggravated it because she didn't get it checked out... and the car had hidden frame damage that we didn't know about for almost three years.
May everyone have a great morning.

Welcome, Yasss Queen! It’s nice to meet another Wood Elf fan, though I’m afraid I’ve rather fallen out of the loop on GW games, and still haven’t got around to actually trying WFRP. I should bug my GM. * Muses fondly about Wardancers and Dryads, to say nothing about truly revolting archery. Oooh, and Waywatchers! And… ;) *
I hope you have fun here: the folks in this thread really are lovely.
We are getting the car checked out, and I'll get myself checked out if the slightest thing seems off ^w^
I’m sorry to hear about your accident, Rysky, and I hope everything does turn out to not be hiding any complications.
Things are getting busy in my neck of the woods with the end of term approaching, but I did make some time to take a look at Julie Maroh’s (of Blue is the Warmest Colour fame) latest, Body Music, which my uni library had on their new arrivals shelf, in translation. I’m not much of a graphic novel girl, but it’s set in my hometown, and my mum’s trained in illustration, so I took a look.
It’s cute, often makes interesting use of lighting, and is organized around a set of vignettes about a diverse set of identities, relationships, and ways of thinking about love. It’s not a terrible way to unwind, all in all. (Although I did find it odd to read it and recognize a bunch of pointedly highlighted spaces: it’s set in a place that is just home to me, and not the glamorous big city that needs careful curation.)

Ah! Site ate my post yesterday. *wubs site's tummy*
Thankies for the kind wishes everyone, everything is going smoothly on my end, we're taking the car to the collision center to set up a date to have the damage fixed today.

A belated greetings to Yasss Queen.
* grabs the newbie in a big, fluffy bear hug *
Sorry, I'm a hugger.
I'm glad you're ok, Rysky. I was in a bit of a fender-bender a few months back (still need to get my car in). Mostly cosmetic damage but one of the running lights got knocked out of whack and there's some small cracks on the passenger-side headlight (light still works fortunately). Accident would have been avoided if the other driver had actually obeyed traffic laws and yielded to me at the roundabout. Worst part was they tried to pin the blame all on me. The officer that showed up basically said nope, it was the other driver was 100% at fault for disobeying traffic laws and I had the right-of-way. To make matters worse I almost had another run-in with the same driver at another round-about because they almost didn't stop (lets out a low bear growl). Ah, but that is neither here nor there.
No go, my skittermander army - spread good cheer to everyone here.

I think I've got a date! I think it's a date since we met on tinder... A geek, obviously. Very cute style, and new in my city. We're gonna go to kind of a "netrunner for newbies" event, since neither of us knows how to play. Seems to me that learning a new game together might be a great way to get to know each other without forcing too much small talk.
Don't know if I'm actually ready to get into something for real now, but getting a new queer friend would be nice regardless and someone wanting to go on a date makes me feel less old and ugly. If it goes to a second date I won't feel so awkward and stupid either! XD
