Aldus Zapf likes to think of himself as a skilled magician as knowledgeable as any wizard academy graduate, this is far from the truth. Unable to focus on any one school of thought he simply picked up what he could before he got frustrated and moved on. Interestingly this had a somewhat positive effect on his magical abilities. While not as powerful as other more capable spellcasters his dodgy training in multiple schools of thought has created a strange amalgamation of different magics, allowing him to draw from a more diverse (if limited) knowledge base.
Aldus has more recently been working as a magical handyman of sorts, providing low level magics in exchange for a meal or a few coppers. He's been trying to get out of the business but at the moment has no avenues to do so. In the past the thought of adventuring held some appeal, though he has never had quite enough confidence in his own abilities to take the plunge. Things are getting tight however and soon, he may not have a choice.

I've redone Herral's traits to suit the campaign and personality a little better. I suggested him because he may be a very willing member of the Church of Whirling Fury in later years.
Some would say he is part kender, I would say he is all healer!

Here is the submission for Tanner Nielsen. I had his character sheet nearly finished and the post-monster decided to eat it. It wasn't very complicated. I'm going for a Dex-based paladin, taking the Divine Hunter and Warrior of the Holy Light archetypes. Primary weapon is a composite longbow. Here is his physical description, personality, and background. Traits are Sargavan Guard and Heirloom Weapon.
Hair: Gray/White/Black
Eyes: Yellow
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 150lb
You see a male catfolk. His fur is gray, with white and black trim, and well-groomed. His eyes are the color of the moon, a pale yellow with flecks of orange near the iris. His skin is tightly stretched over a lanky and athletic frame. He wears a suit of chainmail, with the holy symbol of Sarenrae prominently displayed on the breast of his tabard. He wears a longbow across his back, with a shortsword and quiver of arrows at his belt.
Majarian Whitesmith, or just 'Mawj' to most, tries his best to be an upstanding paladin. He is kind, brave, generous, and loyal - at least most of the time. You get the sense that he passively sizes up people in the room, remaining calm and pleasant with those around him, but trusting few. Despite this wariness in his speech and demeanor, he appears to be trying his best to avoid looking like a predator when he speaks with you.
Mawj was just a child when his plains-dwelling tribe of catfolk was raided by Chelaxian slavers. He remembers little of the night of fire and blood, or the brutal overland journey, or the auction in the public square in Eleder that left him as a bonded house servant to a wealthy merchant. His earliest memories are of service to his master, toiling away in the kitchens and occasionally being called upon to display himself as an oddity for visitors.
His luck changed, however, with the civil war. After Baron Grallus declared himself, and by extension the entire Sargavan colony, against House Thrune, Mawj's master quickly found himself the target of political machinations. Accused of treason and affiliation with the diabolists, he was arrested and dragged out of his home for a mock trial. In the resulting chaos, Mawj grabbed what he could from the wealth of the house and ran into the streets, not quite certain where to go.
After several bewildering nights on the street, he found solace in a small temple of Sarenrae on the outskirts of town. Taken in by the chaplain, Brother Whitesmith, Mawj found peace and comfort that he had never known as a slave. Taking the priest has his adopted father, and his new surname, Mawj stayed with the temple for several years and trained as a paladin, finding a sense of purpose in his new-found faith.
Mawj is now eager to spread the holy word of Sarenrae and take his place as a crusader for the Dawnflower against the darkness of the world.

When I read Baolo's profile last night I really thought "WOW!" That's a great sounding character.
