Armored Monk flurrying?

Rules Questions

I read in Core about a monk's flurry of blows and I see it does not say he loses this ability while wearing armor? Is it found somewhere else or can a monk wear armor and keep on flurrying?

Do monks get penaltys for wearing armor that are not stated in core?

I ask a lot of useless personal Questions sorry and thank you

Thanks for clearing this up

The Monk's Flurry of Blows doesn't care whether you wear armor or not. It's the armor and weapon proficiencies that tell you you can't.

However, the Sohei archetype modifies the armor and weapon proficiencies and does not tell you you can't flurry in armor, therefore, a Sohei can.

I believe the designer of the Sohei archetype has actually stated that that was an oversight and that the Sohei is not intended to be able to Flurry in armor, however, this strikes me as confusing in that, why would a Sohei gain proficiency in armor and retain Flurry if not to be able to gain the benefit of both at the same time? Is he supposed to spend his time before battles mulling over whether he wants to be armored or able to flurry?
