Hey guys so as with a hell of a lot of you I did not make it into round 2 this year. No sweat there is always next year however, being the over prepared person that I am, I rounded out my ideas for the Round 2 submission.
I thought I'd create this thread to purge my contest ideas for 2012 and thought maybe there might be others who would like to share their ideas intended for round 2 in order to cleanse the old ideas to make room for the new ones. I do find it helps cauterize the sting of not making into round two. If this thread is against contest regulations please remove it, no harm no foul, my idea's fate is for the universe now and I can start work on next year...mwahahaha
<Organization will be reposted after round 2, sorry Liz>

Very well thought out, but I see one glaring problem with this as a potential submission: In the discussion concerning the round 2 applications, it was said that the judges were looking for an antagonistic organization, one that PCs could come in conflict with. Unless a group was playing a party of Razmiran loyalists, I don't see that happening.

The severing circle was designed as a very tight nit and abrasive anti-spell caster group, the reason I went with a neutral alignment was because there are those members of the faction who would fanatically hunt down Spellcasters simply for having magic, regardless of alignment.
Leaves for a decent plot in terms of understanding/misunderstanding and developing relations with this group that really only makes friends with people abused by spellcasters instead of adventuring party which more often than not utilizes spellcasting for personal gain.
The 400 word cap kinda muddied up the clarity of that intention though :P
To be honest this idea came about from the BBEG always being some kind of powerful Spellcaster of Warrior Mage, and I kinda wanted to explore the anti-spellcasters like Fighters and Witch hunters.

A few things (based on the sort of comments the judges made):
Template - There's no Introduction in the template. Not sure how your Structure and Leadership section with lots of blank lines would have gone down with the judges, or goals in a list as I didn't see any other entries with a list. You are 1 over the word count (according to how Word 2003 counted it).
As Shadowborn said, I can't see how they would be an antagonistic group to any PCs.
Also, is Moramarth a cleric? An anti-spellcasting cleric? It's not clear.
Your goals aren't goals. You can definitely cut 5 and 6, if not all of them.

Just in case an organization is an option in future rounds, and I really like my idea for one, I am going to refrain from participating here.
However, for those about to flex your creative muscles for the community to see, I salute you.
@Samuel Grundy: I believe that Liz stated after round two finishes meaning after voting is finished. I may be mistaken, but it seems to me that we're still smack-dab in the middle of round two at this point.

aren't all submissions locked in already? Also this thread wasn't created for submission, the idea was in it's draft stages and would have been more polished for the next round. This is merely a purge of one idea, now it's here I can't discard it and work on something better rather than hording it, beating a dead horse as it were.

They are. What everyone is suggesting here is that you should hold off until the voting closes and the Round 2 competitors are trimmed down to the Top 16 who go on to compete in Round 3. That's because, during this time, you kind of want to give the Top 32 their due...not detract from the organizations they've prepared by offering up your own for community discussion at a time when the focus is supposed to be on the competitors' work.
Now, that's not saying a conversation about your organization idea couldn't still take place after this round is completely done. I think everyone here would be more than ready to engage you on it at that point. But, for now, they prefer to keep their focus on the competing entries. That's what I'm reading from the comments posted here, at least.

Samuel there's also another thread Round 2: The Home Edition where we're planning on doing the same thing. Why don't you drop in there where you'll likely get more feedback.
