Advice about Team Work Feats

Advice

Hi, I am looking for advice on teamwork feats. Myself and another player have two characters that in the game are married and are normally the front row fighting characters. He is an Eldritch knight, specializing in a bastard sword whilst she is an rogue with the sniper archetype by specialty. Both are 11th level.

Now when in melee combat, these two form a flanking position and then lay into the opposition. We though it would be nice to get a teamwork feats together so that it would reflect how they work together. Now form what we can see they are suitable for two melee attackers or two ranged attackers?

So for the ramble, but can anyone suggest something for a melee attacker and a ranged attacker. I.e. she shoots the opponent, distracting him so her husband can get a bonus in what ever form?

Any suggestions?

thanks
Chris

Having him spec into dazzling display and get yourself shatter defences, sadly the teamwork feats don't really work for an archer with a melee they tend to work better if your both flanking.

Its a shame you went sniper as assault leader and opportunist both work really well with teamwork feats like paired opportunists and the flanking feats. Honestly the best teamwork feat isn't even a teamwork feat as a twf dex based melee rogue with imp crit kukri and a 2her str/pa brute with a x4 crit weapon are among the sickest builds imaginable.

With you being a sniper your better letting him intimidate for you to shatter and get full attack sa damage with your rapid shot bow. Theres not much you can do to help him from 30ft away.

Off the top of my head there aren't any teamwork feats for that situation, since most (if not all) of them require you to either adjacent to each other or flanking a single opponent.

Target of opportunity might be usefull in some situations, giving your "husband" a ranged attack of opportunity (maybe a throwing axe or something) when you hit with your ranged attack

thats all I can think of

Unfortunately you can't flank with a ranged weapon.

This. As soon as I saw that she was the Sniper archetype and a front line fighter, I knew something was wrong.

Yeah, I would suspect your knowledge of some of the recent game additions.

The archer can provide flanking, but not benefit from it using the Snap Shot feat chain.

The OP's description fits the Snap Shot feat exactly, by the way. "I.e. she shoots the opponent, distracting him so her husband can get a bonus in what ever form?" Fairly good description of how Snap Shot works...

It's not very hard to look at the list of teamwork feats and see what the two of you like.

The defensive teamwork feats are the best options. Shake It Off is solid. Lookout might be good. Duck and Cover might be REALLY good.

Sure, and the Rogue could do the same just by having a Gauntlet or some armor spikes or something like that, too. But I suppose I was figuring the whole purpose of flanking would be for the Rogue to get Sneak Attack, which does not work. I mean, the +2 is nice for non-rogues, but it isn't essential like it is for Rogue dpr.
