Altering A Spell's Damage Type

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I remember reading that there is a spell or feat (possibly metamagic) or trait or something, I can not remember for the life of me what it was that would alter a spells damage type. For instance, if you cast a Fire spell but you want to change it to Electricity damage in case of the target being immune to Fire damage. I have looked for it for 2 hours (sadly that is not an exaggeration) and I can not find it. Does anyone remember or can direct me to the correct location that this ability apparently hiding from me. Thanks

Sorcerers with the elemantal Bloodline can cange any spell w/ an energy decriptor to spell that deals damage using the energy type of their chosen element.

Elemental Spell is what you're looking for. Be aware you have to select a single type of damage when you take the feat, however.

There is also the Admixture Wizard's ability Versatile Evocation, but it only affects evocation spells.

Versatile Evocation:
When you cast an evocation spell that does acid, cold, electricity, or fire damage, you may change the damage dealt to one of the other four energy types. This changes the descriptor of the spell to match the new energy type. Any non-damaging effects remain unchanged unless the new energy type invalidates them (an ice storm that deals fire damage might still provide a penalty on Perception checks due to smoke, but it would not create difficult terrain). Such effects are subject to GM discretion. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

Elemental Spell is what I was looking for, Thank You very much. I was about to go crazy!
