I see quite a few posts from people who seem to REALLY know the history and people and places of the Pathfinder setting.
I have the core rulebook and the Advanced Player's Guide. Neither of which really delves into the history.
What are y'all reading to gain more knowledge of the history? Are there any good books which deal with this?

I believe the most detailed book on the setting history etc is The Inner Sea World Guide for information that is a bit more localized on the river kingdoms there is Guide to the river Kingdoms

Another great resource, with abbreviated information from other sources is the PathfinderWiki, especially if you want to look up certain specific things, rather than gain a broad knowledge base of the setting as a whole.

I don't have it (yet), but as Onishi mentioned, the Inner Sea World Guide seems to be the big source book for Golarian info. It's a hard back book about the size of the Advanced Players Guide.
There are also smaller books with info on specific areas of interest. For instance, when I wanted to learn more about the Golarian deities while making a cleric character, I picked up the "Gods and Magic" book, and I recently ordered "Halflings of Golarian" for a halfling character I'm making. These books are smaller and cheaper than the hardbacks, but they look like they could add up if you buy a lot of them.

Similar story, when I found out about the four Goblin Hero-Gods and wanted to know more, a search on http://pathfinder.wikia.com/ revealed three sources of reference on them:
Classic Monsters Revisited
The Great Beyond: A Guide to the Multiverse
Gods and Magic
Ofcourse the Goblin Hero-Gods are a very tiny portion in each of these books, tons of more information.

I have nearly all of the printed material, only missing a few of the earlier modules. Though I don't often post on the boards (though I do lurk about them at times). I'd suggest the "Inner Sea World Guide" and go from there. There's certainly more information on Varisia more than any other region, thanks to 2 1/2 AP's, soon to be another at least partial AP, and a couple of city books "Guide to Korvosa" and "City of Strangers". The AP's do flesh out specific areas quite a bit. The campaign setting books giver fairly decent broad overviews of other regions, usually entire countries (or several countries).
You don't need much to run a game in Golarion, and most of what you need is available in "The Inner Sea World Guide" and on the Pathfinderwiki, but pick up other stuff as you need for your game.
(While being a completionist myself, I don't recommend it for sane people.)

Thanks for the responses everyone. I look forward to learning more about the history of the world.
Have you tried PathfinderWiki? It has a lot of great resources on Golarion.
Also, this forum has a LOT of good threads, and some of the fine folks from Paizo -- such as James Jacobs and Erik Mona -- do chime in on some topics.
