Things I wish DDO had

Video Games

1. Light sources
2. I'd kill for an overland flight or spiderclimb spell. Wizards shouldn't be walking about.

More as I think of them.

I wish it used D&D for it's combat system and not the strange system they invented for it.

Sovereign Court

Forgotten realms as a setting.

Shadow Lodge

A clearer path as to how I should get past level 4 or 5 without grinding the same dungeons over and over.

Liberty's Edge

Better/prettier looking models. All the guys look terrible.

They do now. It's a new thing.

Sovereign Court

Please. Neverwinter is a game for kids. It's not a serious MMO. You can solo the entire game except for the dungeons, which are 5 man. I do enjoy playing it with my fiance who is a casual though.

No I mean they have Forgotten Realms in Dungeons and Dragons Online.

Sovereign Court

I havent played in a few years. I think it would be fun to wipe a server once a year and let everybody start from scratch again.

Turn based MMO? No thanks I love me some DDO combat.

In an MMO? Do you just hate people or something!? Lets just throw away a year or more of everyone's hard work and time. Who would really care right?

One server out of many. Man, step back off that ledge.

I'd also like to see the server wiped once a year or two. Not entirely, maybe...

I wish there was some sort of (permanent?) permanency in the game. That there were certain dungeons that could only be cleared out once, and that there was and end-game. Once the final dungeon has been cleared and the final evil has been defeated, the world resets, and the party who did it get some say in what the next world will be like.

The next world comes around, there are minor changes based on what was achieved in the previous iteration, and everyone starts off fresh. But there'd be an in-game record of who the "ultimate heroes" of the every past world were.

And unless I'm mistaken you're still FROM Ebberon and just visiting FR.

It doesn't need to be turn based to use D&D rules... NWN wasn't turn based. At least not the way I think you mean.

Sovereign Court

Nwn was turn based, it all just looked almost real timey-ish. If you payed attention to the combat text you would see.

They have added "iconic" characters that start in Forgetton Realms now as well. I do like my little sun elf quite a bit.

It's not the entire world of FR. It's just one area. They couldn't much make an entirely new game.

Really loved this game for a long time. My wish is that they didn't overhaul systems so deeply and so frequently that it takes as much time to reread patch notes as to run Necro 1.
