So as you might have seen in this post, there's a Game Day event going on at Dragon's Lair in Austin on September 23rd. Well, down here in San Antonio we're going to be having a Game Day at our Dragon's Lair on the day before that, September 22nd.
We're currently planning to run ten tables across two time slots from 10 AM to 8 PM, but we have room for more if enough people sign up! We'll be giving out prizes and boons, too.
The San Antonio Dragon's Lair is located at 7959 Fredericksburg Rd Suite #129 in the Oak Hills Shopping Center. Our Warhorn page for the event is available here: http://warhorn.net/pathfinder-society-san-antonio/schedule/day.php?date=201 2-09-22#175
Feel free to e-mail me at sanantoniopfs@gmail.com if you have any questions, or stop by the forums on our Obsidian Portal page: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/pathfinder-society-san-antonio
I hope to see everybody there!

I'm excited to see you're running some high level scenarios, I'm interested in both as I need 1 more to get my Fighter to 11th
Echoes of the Everwar—Part I: The Prisoner of Skull Hill (PATH)
Then 1 step closer to 12, or if I can make the Austin Dragon Lairs day and play in the Ruby Phoenix tournament then I'd hold off on part II and play a different character.
Echoes of the Everwar—Part II: The Watcher of Ages (PATH)
The opportunity for two games might be enough to bring me from Houston to San Antonio and then Austin.

Send me a PM, might be able to work out a place for you to stay.
Thank you, I have an old friend from way back that lives in San Antonio who would let me crash at their place, right now its swinging the cash flow and time off from work as well as hoping the tables get a little closer to full before I can commit myself to the trip.
For what it's worth, the reason we don't have more high level scenarios scheduled is because there aren't very many local players who have 7-11 characters. If there are out of town visitors who would be drawn in by high level games, let us know, we can add more if there's enough interest.
There are several in Houston with high level PFS characters and I've asked them via various forums, most aren't available on Saturday, though a few might be able to make the trip to Austin on the Sunday.
I'm noticing that about Texas PFS, as well as how difficult it is to get players to talk across one city like Houston and organize games. I'm having to look further afield to get in some high level games.
Kelly has set up a Houston Pathfinder site, yet its difficult to get players to sign up and organize games.

There is also a Pathfinder Society group on Facebook open for all players and a lot of discussion happens there as well.

So you are aware, we expect many of the players to be walk-ins.
Part of the reason of this is a push to get a influx of new players, we are doing a recriutment game. We are expecting more then a few walk-ins, that you won't be signed up on the Warhorn page.

The walk-ins probably won't be playing in the 7-11 games, though, unless they want to try playing the 7th level pre-gens. :)
If there is a group from Houston who wants to come down to Austin and play in a 7-11 game on Sunday, we may be able to arrange that. Minneyar and I are going to try to head up to Austin for at least one slot on Sunday and I'd be willing to run a 7-11 game if we have the players and if DL has a spare table for us.

Understood. My character may be lvl 11 before the 22nd, I have several other lower level characters that can play in other games.

I'm discussing this with several players in Houston in a thread on the Pathfinder Society Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/28750893996/
It looks like at least two, possibly four players may roll up on Sunday to Austin for this, but we're still ironing out the details. The levels of characters will range from 1 to 11 and we all have a varying level of alts scattered throughout the mix.
I should be able to let y'all know more info as we get closer.

I am going to make it to this event, I was able to get a day off from both work and family. I love meeting pathfinders from different areas, and I hope we have a great turn out. Initially I was headed to Austin on Sunday, but I decided to support our local scene instead. As always I intend on bringing in a few walk ins and newbies.

At least 3 of us will be heading up to Austin from Houston for the Sunday game day, a variety of factors came into play for this decision.
I have lvls 1,3,5,7,11.
2 players are new to PFS, but not Pathfinder and will have lvl 1's possibly 2's if we can get games in this coming week.
1 will have an 8
1 more lvl 11 looking to retire his character at 12 may be making the trip up as well.
I'm excited forward to the Ruby Phoenix Tournament, yet will look at 4-04 Storval for a good alternate for that character.
