Exactly. Were we supposed to forget that we love our spouses, our kids? Our dogs and cats and hamsters?
I love that the Universe simply came into being. I don't even care how. I just love staring at it. Let's all just take a minute to remember what Bones said, and remind ourselves of how amazing life is.
"In this galaxy there’s a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all that, and perhaps more...only one of each of us."
-Dr. McCoy, Star Trek, “Balance of Terror”
I miss Bones. Just like I miss my Uncle Dan, who we all used to joke was just like Dr. McCoy (probably not a coincidence, since he loved Star Trek). But I got to have time with both, in my own way. And that's enough to love life right there.

I have an amazing fiance, soon to be wife.
I have a great job that is going to provide for my future family where I am constantly learning new information.
I have great friends and a healthy body.
I really like the idea behind this thread, so many times we forget to take a step back and remember all the amazing things in our lives because we are so busy being stuck in the doom and gloom of the day to day trudge.
Thanks for the reminder that life is amazing.

I have a lovely and supportive wife.
I live in a very beautiful place.
I own three highly-entertaining dogs (or do they own me? I'm not really clear on that part)
I get to ride my bike along the Atlantic Ocean and feel the salty breeze kiss my skin
I own my own library

Unlike many others I have never really experienced true hunger, or any real privation. I may not be rich, but my life is better than a king's would be 200 years ago.
These among many other things is why I love my life.

How many body pieces have seceded from Cosmo now anyway?
Are they off forming a patchwork Cosmo golem that is even more evil?
Or have they escaped to the Los Angeles underground where they survive as soldiers of fortune?

I'm just worried about when the damn thing escaped. It could be getting closer to Philly even as we speak. Hell, it could be outside right now!!!
puts the alarm on and starts boarding up windows
AUGH! Your right, it could be anywhere now! Even right outside! AUGH! Quick, set the couch on fire and spread jello on the floor!

It used to be a "visit to the lab". But now that I'm with the steam group, and we don't have a lab, that excuse has gone the way of the dodo.
