According to Hyrum Savage's facebook... He's no longer associated with Paizo. Never saw that one coming. Regardless of the circumstances (which are a private matter of Paizo and Hyrum), I wish Mr. Savage a lot of success onwards.

Read this as well. I wish him well also.

Seems like the wrong time of the year to be without a Marketing Guy though.

read that as well....it goes with a rumor I was hearing that Hasbro is trying to do something with Paizo.

Best wishes to Hyrum.

I would be extremely surprised to see Paizo do anything with Hasbro.

Come on ... you can't drop something like that and not give details!

What exactly did you hear and where / from whom did you you hear it?

Even I don't buy that.

Now check out Magic the Cash Cow.

Is this a someone-on-the-internet-said-they-think-this-will-happen rumor?

Because that's my favorite kind.

Oh, oh, oh...please tell! Hopefully they will pay me enough money to buy that island in the Caribbean that I have been eyeing. Should only cost $100 million or so. :)

Best of luck to Hyrum. So sorry things didn't work out for whatever reason.

I don't know - I think that the Original Series was the best. (Yes, I do make an allowance for it being made in the late 1960s.)

DS9 was the only one worth watching.

If that is the case it tells me that they are having a hard time finding the right mix of people for PFS.

Sure.

I'll add a +1 to the best wishes to Hyrum.

Thanks folks! :)

And the Trek references are awesome! For me it goes:

DS9
TOS
TNG
VOY
ENT, although Season 4 was getting pretty good.

Hyrum.

I wish you good luck Hyrum. May you always roll 20's. And whether you're with paizo or not you'll always be welcome at my gaming table along with all paizonians.

A man with taste! Except for that last one (ENT? what is that? Did they make something after Voyager ended? :-p) that is the same order that my Trek preference list runs.

Mr Savage, are you willling to share the reasons why are you no longer part of Paizo or is it private matter between you and the rest of the team?

Regardless, good luck with your future endeavours.

I seem to recall someone a year or two ago mentioning she walked into the office brandishing a whip once...

Or was that a reward?

Now that's a piece of fanart that's dying to be made. So what is it... ten lashes per page late on deadline?

Grand Lodge

And we'll me missing you as well Mr. Savage.

Mr. Moreland, If I were you, I would continue to be the "power in the background" for PFS... it looks like actually being IN CHARGE is a dangerous position to take!

Hyrum, lots of luck with your future endeavors! Here's to hoping for great things coming down the line from you. I appreciate all you have done with PFS... and You Only Die Twice was fantastic!

It seems running PFS is like being the Dark Arts instructor at Hogwarts.

Sorry, but I like Pathfinder too much. I'll have to buy that island right from under your nose.

There is no allowance. I might make an exception for special effects, but the whole Theme Park Galaxy thing is timelessly awful.

Hummm ...

So Taldor is made up of Redshirts?

This has some interresting implications about why the empire fell apart.

Yeah I know what a redshirt is, I am just really surprised he was there for such a short time is all. makes me curious why.

As a video game refugee now living the good life outside the brutal game industry, I can probably venture a good guess: he came to his senses. ;)

I doubt that, since he'll continue to work for the super geniuses. Probably a personality conflict with one of the paizo higher-ups. But this idle speculation gets us nothing, and they seem convinced to keep quiet. Looks they don't want to start a paizo internals soap opera...too bad :)
