Hellknight PC! Help!

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hello everyone, where can I find information on how to make a Hellknight playable PC? Is it specifically in one of the pathfinder books? Is this a 10 level PRC or a 15 level like I remember seeing?

What kind of suggestions would everyone have about the character's personality etc? He is only level 2, so he would currently not be a hellknight of course, but its definitely something to work towards!

Thank you!

Hey!

Check out the d20 pathfinder sight under hellknight, its a 3rd party prestige class.
Also check out Council of Thieves module detailing all the hellknight orders. There is also another module that shows more detail as well.
You can become a hellknight pretty easily. Requirements are only +5 BAB, Lawful and heavy armor proficiency.
You will have to role play a situation were the Armiger (hellknight wannabe) defeats a Devil of equal or greater HD infront of another Hellknight. This is the final step in becoming a member of one of the many, many orders.
Personality would be Lawful! They range from Evil, Neutral and Good. I'd say the majority are towards the Neutral side. Those leaning towards Good are in the mininority. They are similiar to Paladins but not as forgiving.
One saying goes something like this. A man not contributing anything to society or is a detriment is like heavy chains on a drowning man. Would not the drowning man cast off those chains to save himself? The drowning man is society as a whole.
Also, a hellknight order looks to Hell itself as something to emulate. Not the evil stuff but the order it presents in a word of chaos. This could be confused for devil worship and I'm still not clear on why they keep hell so close. Eventually a high level hellknight can summon all kinds of Devils (summon monster)
My Hellknight would be more akin to a pious templar from 3rd edition. Still a work in progress, my PC Arton Emon is still a 4th level fighter looking for an order to accept him as an Armiger.
Hope this helps

Inner Sea World Guide.

It's 15 levels in the What Lies in Dust adventure path of Council of Thieves and remade to 10 levels in the Inner Sea World Guide.

Only the latter class is legal for PFS play FYI.

Here is the 15th level older version and here is the new official 10 level version
