I think the two in agreement rule is a great idea. With very few exceptions, that is probably the same result as when we wait for everyone to chime in. There are probably a few exceptions that would be obvious, where one or more characters obviously wouldn't go along (the druid might have something to say if the dwarf and another agree that we should burn down the forest to get rid of the snake), we can probably recognize those situations and wait in those instances.

Avarthiel, please keep in mind that detect poison is not a cone like detect magic, and each separate casting either scans one creature, one object, or one 5-foot cube.
That sounds a lot more inline with a cantrip. I was actually wondering a bit about using it to ferret out hidden/invisible assassins with poison-coated blades and thinking "That's a pretty potent spell"
Still pretty nice though. Could use it to periodically scan small areas along the trail where its dark, hard to see or a serpent may be likely to be hiding. Small help = Still help after all. =D
But the real question is does Kythas' venomous personality keep triggering the spell before it can be of any real use?

Apologies for the map. I have no idea how construct a jungle.
I like it!
In the event that a certain Hurricane trashes my city (I live in Nashua, NH, US.) and I'm unable to post (unlikely, since I have a fully charged cell with a spare battery and car charger) Kythas will drop his bow and close in on the snake with his Curve Blade even though it will cost him a round of movement.

I wish to apologise for my lacklustre participation the last two weeks - which does not help since I'm supposed to be the DM.
I am physically not doing very well and am perpetually exhausted. I am mentally stressed. I don't know when this will subside. I want to be more active but I have a lot of commitments IRL as well: studies, pets, ect. .
Having said that, I will try to participate more. You deserve that.
Dantes, you can't Take 10 on Aid Another skill checks.
Aid Another
You can help someone achieve success on a skill check by making the same kind of skill check in a cooperative effort. If you roll a 10 or higher on your check, the character you're helping gets a +2 bonus on his or her check. (You can't take 10 on a skill check to aid another.)In many cases, a character's help won't be beneficial, or only a limited number of characters can help at once.
Bolded for emphasis.

No probs Patcher!
I understand that things get hectic irl and I'm having fun just being able to log in and keep posting.
I'd go even further and say you're doing awesomely, and I think we as the players who fought to get into this pbp and signed on knowing there was a daily post requirement should be the ones making just as much of an effort to keep things moving.
Also, I'm about 99.6% sure Dantes was foolin' when he said he was going to take 10 to assist.
We Yanks have an unusual sense of humor that often can't be contained in the OC threads.
(As much as we try. ;) )

Absolutely. I completely understand the pressures of starting a new endeavour and dealing with medical issues. I'll keep tabs on it here just in case we get a chance to pick up again.

Hello everyone who's still dotted -
Just thought I'd drop a post here after finishing my read-through of your IC thread. I've been using it as inspiration for my own SfSS game and it's really helped me flesh out the NPCs and give my party better descriptions. I extend my kudos to DM Patcher and all of you players for some really excellent roleplaying, and my regrets that the game did not continue. Thanks for the good read!
