I pre-ordered on the first day. No e-mail.

hmmm...lairs as a POD. Let me think on that
Would it help if I followed you around repeating "Will you give us lairs as a POD? Will you give us lairs as a POD? Will you give us lairs as a POD?" ala the Simpsons? Because I'll do it :-)
Seriously, I don't much know the process for POD products but I would think that it shouldn't cost you anything and you could always price it to make a few bucks on each one sold. I would most likely buy 2 copies.

It would take time to do, meaning Chuck's time. Plus, as I understand it, any POD service takes a chunk of profits. How big? I don't know at all. But it is an interesting idea and good to know that Bill is considering it.
I personally would have a big ole grin on my face if folks did like it enough to spend extra on a POD. I had a little something to do with the titles of the some of the encounters.

Shh... Stop telling people that! My download is already slow enough as it is. 32 MB so far...

It's not there for everyone. I just checked.

Yep, it's only special people that get to download it. :)

Indeed. I guess Mom lied when she said I was special. :(

I still don't have this mysterious e-mail that contains the link to download. Does anyone have a direct link to it?
Thanks. :)
The link I have is https://www.aplusdownload.com/cgi-bin/apluspro/scripts/command.cgi?action=3 . Login details are up to you to provide. ;-)
I've got my Slumbering Tsar subscription files, but no Tome yet. :-(

I don't doubt that I did. Now if I could remember the day and the e-mail address that I received it from, that'd be great. It seems so long ago. But I was also one of those that had ordered before the distinction was made to order between the PF and S&W version, so I was half expecting a follow-up to determine which one I actually wanted.
I'll find out here shortly enough. ;-)

I, too, was getting frustrated about not getting an email that would tell me what to do to download this massive tome. However, I finally took a chance and looked at my initial email after my purchase I found there the link and my login and password information that I had been waiting for. So to anyone waiting for that email, please look at your original email you got after your purchase to see if there is the information you are waiting for.
Just my 2 cp.

Thanks for the link, Paul. I didn't remember my original password as I only logged in once and that was when I first ordered it. After resetting it and logging in, I got the notice: "There are no files to download at present."
I'm somewhat not surprised ... as I wonder if the system even knows which version I ordered as I was not prompted with the version I wanted when I first ordered.

Unfortunately, said link doesn't actually take me to the file. I get a 'No files available' when I follow it and log in.

My email was March 9th. I also didn't have a choice of versions. Hope this time frame might help. I know I ordered pretty early when it was available.

It's alright. I appreciate it. :) Paul's link at least got me in the right direction to re-establish my access. Now the rest are in their hands.
I have Ultimate Magic and I have Ultimate Combat and I haven't gotten around to downloading those PDFs yet even though I have the hard cover.
But this? Even though I have the original ToH hard covers ... I want the precioussssssss..... :D

I didn't get an update from FGG but the DL has shown up in ezine sub section (under by Slumbering Tsar files). Keep checking there, it may just show up with no notice.

As I said earlier, I don't have an e-zine option when I log in, just File Downloads, which is empty.

Yeah, I am thinking it is a issue for the people who ordered the very second it became available and did not have the option to buy the specific versions. I missed the initial buy option due to the server crashing or whatever happened and had the options to buy either the PF or S&W versions.

mdt |

When you click the link and then log in, there are two links. The one to the LEFT says Download Files. The one to the RIGHT says Ezine Subscription. Click the RIGHT link (Ezine Subscriptions), not the left one and you will get there. Downloading now.
When you click on the link, and then log in, there are three links. The one in the CENTER says Download Files. The one on the LEFT BELOW says Log Out. The one on the RIGHT BELOW says Home Page. There is no Ezine Subscriptions unless you already subscribe to the ezine, which I don't.

Nope, I ordered during the special extension they had, at the end of the month. I just don't subscribe to their e-zine, and that is where the download is showing up, not under files. Since I don't subscribe to the ezine, I don't get the file. :(

I'm sorry mdt, that sucks.
I'm sure they'll get it worked out soon, start posting it in the other ToHC threads.

~shrugs~ Sorry. I did my best. I too am NOT happy about how they are handling the download. No e-mail or anything, people who buy through Paizo get it first, ect. This is the second company that I will do my best to NOT buy directly from them, but go though Paizo if at all possible. I had better get an e-mail telling me when it ships.

I think that's honestly a bit of an overreaction, not trying to be rude. I'm not thrilled about it, but they only started putting it out today. And this is their first big release, so I'm sure a few kinks are to be expected.
If I still can't download it 3 days from now, I'll be raising all sorts of heck. :)

~shrugs again~ True. Sort of. But a business can be made or broken by these things. OTOH, I KNOW they put out good stuff. I just also know that Paizo tends to be a whole lot less hassle free.
