According to the PFRPG p 36, a bardic performance with audio components must be heard by the target and is language dependent.
One with visual components requires line of sight for the target.
Inspire courage says that the target must perceive the effect. It also says that which components it has are up to the bard.
So, is it being redundant (choosing the components would force one or more of the first two sentences) when saying that the target must perceive the performance or is it stating that perceiving is sufficient?
IOW, could hearing a battle song in a language one does not understand still inspire courage?
My character will be the same either way, I am just trying to figure how it will play out.
Now, minus one feat, choosing spells, making the eidolon (minimum points) and finishing the purchase of equipment, Uriel is done.
Whew. A lot of classes means a lot of work.
Spells done, still buying equipment, but have most of it done. Will hopefully post a final version by the end of today with Animal Companion/Familiar.
I also decided to choose savage skald archtype still need spells buy know what my class abilities do now. I will choose my spells known now.
edit can I have a hide shirt from the rise of the runelords players' guide as it is the best armor that is light for summoner and bard and nonmetal for druid otherwise I might just take mage armor as a spell known.
Okay, have everything done. But don't have equipment listed yet. You can check out the rest though. Will get equipment listed tonight before I go to bed.
Thanks, added gear, still have a little more than 700gp left. May add a couple of scrolls or potions. Otherwise, should be done.
I just have some finishing touches (handful of spells, odds and ends equipment) and I will be done. I hope to finish that up today, but this weekend is easily enough time for me.
I still need to finish off my character need equipment. AarCe cipher has expressed interest but has not made a character yet.
Uriel is finally done on paper but I haven't yet had a chance to add all the changes into the profile. Perhaps tonight after work. I will probably play with the formatting for a while to get all the information in a form that I like.

Does my animal companion get how many dice since I am druid and cavalier at the same level does that only give me one hd to my animal companion? not that it matters for what I care about hit points. hmm I know what feats I am taking with it though. Dodge and toughness.
Just need to decide and finalize the background.

Ian your animal companion only gets 1HD per level, so druid and cavalier in the same level don't stack
Sorry for not saying anything, but I've had a very busy yet surprisingly productive weekend; just been busy since finals are coming up soon. I am working on my character though, and have a lot of options picked out.
Minus some formatting work, Uriel is now done. I might change a minor purchase or other, but for now, he is done. I thought about giving my eidolon one rank in heal but finally decided to give her one rank in handle animals so that she can watch our horses for us. ;)

Are yuo going to introduce our characters or is it assumed we will know each other already?
If the latter, I hope everyone is going to buy a rank in linguistics and take celestial. :)
One more thing, I am supposed to start back 12s (1800 to 0600) on Friday. Coupling that with having my car in the shop (meaning taking transportation as I get it), I might not get a post in on the first day depending upon what time it starts. I can still post once (or more) per day while on back 12s but if I am waiting on a post before me, I won't get one in til the next day if I need to leave for work. If nothing else, I could post my actions in a spoiler with rolls or let ulgulanoth make the die rolls when my turn comes around just in case my turn would come up.
