Nope; we did indeed nearly stumble into Socorro's clutches one day under Carrion Hill.

Awesome and creepy! Was that the scariest and creepiest adventure you've ever had?

Merisiel Sillvari wrote:

I didn't see any Yogsoths or whatever there, but the place was kinda nasty. Did you know they make roofs out of melted bugs? It's true. Gross.

Well, it was invisible most of the time and it'd be unreasonable to expect you to know the technical name of every gross, slimy thing you've fought. Here's a picture of you and Seltyiel fighting the creature to refresh your memory: pic

Ustalav is actually really beautiful and refreshing. I think Thrushmoor is my favorite place so far. The furrows are the worst.

Thrushmoor seems like an interesting town, but I hear that Count Lowls is kind of a jackmumblemumble.

Have you met any of the counts or countesses of Ustalav? You might get along well with Count Galdana or Countess Livgrace.

You're starting to ask too many questions in one thread with lots of nested quotes, so I'll respond by running my answers alltogetheratonce.

The one where we almost got caught by Socorro. Oh that guy! Yeah he was nasty. I haven't met any of the leaders of Ustalav... I generally try to avoid contact with leader types cause they always want me to do things or throw me in jail or both.

If you were accidentally shipped/teleported/shanghaied to a distant corner of the world, where would you prefer to be?

Irrisen?

Qadira?

Numeria?

Mwangi Coast?

Tian Xia?

And which would be your least preferred destination-by-force?

How do you know what an anarchornism is is it becuase you went to Numeria?

Will do. Soon as it happens.

Probably because she has good taste in whom she decides to be seen conversing with. Also... she'd probably just blast you into smoke if she DID notice you, so count yourself lucky, ghostie!

Eeew... no. Babies are loud and smelly and adventure-anchors. As in they anchor you in one spot so you can't go adventuring.

Most favorite: Tian-Xia. I've heard good things.

Least favorite: Five Kings Mountains. Or maybe Taldor.

......*reads the above* ...... you borrowed Erzen's spellbook for that, didn't you? Just grabbed big words from half a dozen pages and rammed them together to make a sentence.

On a (somewhat) related topic, do you employ the Use Magic Skill (The UMaDbro skill as my players call it) during your career, or do you leave the exploding/burning/freezing/zapping/melting/glittery/summony stuff to the professionals?

LIES.

I didn't "borrow" his spellbook at all. I stole it. I'm trying to decide on if I should put it back or sell it before he finds out.

I do indeed enjoy the use of Use Magic Device now and then.

In regards to the first, don't sell it, buy an exact duplicate book and put pressed flowers in it. Put his book back and wait a few days, then swap them over. Wait for the outraged scream and laugh about it.

In regards to the Use Magic Device, a few classics:

Bag of Marbles and Wand of Grease. Bonus points if Lem can pull off the Benny Hill song as this goes down.

Wand of Ghost Sound. Time it just right and you can make it sound like the rival of your choice has just let loose with a thunderous fart of wall-shaking proportions at a choice moment.

Animate Rope .... no I think I'll leave that one out.

Wand of Suggestion. Tell Kyra to leave her hat on...no I'll leave that one alone too...

Major Image. Get the low-will save folks to walk in to what they think is a bath-house, but is really the middle of a quiet area. Sell tickets to people watching 'outside' the illusion for when the spell ends.

That's a good idea. An even better one—swap it for a HOLLOW book. One filled with wasps! ahahahhaahah!!! Awesome. (scurries off to set up most excellent practical joke)

Merisiel,
I think my favorite picture I've seen of you is on pg.92 of the Core Rulebook, where you're swinging down a mast and facing off against a pirate. So what's the rest of the story?

Also, do you know any handy or interesting Golarian slang or street talk that you might share with someone new around here?

That pirate had it coming. The rest of the story is me using his stolen loot to buy some fancy new armor and a magic ring. His boat, alas, now sits at the bottom of Chimera Cove.

I do know lots of Golarion slang. You can't not grow up on the streets and not know it, but it's different for every region. Was there a particular area or topic you were looking about?

I do have to admit there is something very...attractive about her. Its the whole element of danger thing I think. I once saw an awesome picture of her that had a caption that said something like "You would spend a week in traction but getting there would be worth it" or something to that effect and I couldn't agree more.

You and I have been chatting for a while now, which of the Iconics do you think I have the best chance of getting a date with? I'm mainly interested in Kyra, Amiri, Sheela, Seoni and you of course. Oh and the rumor that I'm all hands on a date is so not true...

Of those that you think would reject me could you give me reasons so I know what to work on?

You should totally go chat up Amiri. But she's pretty busy during the day, so you should wait until the night and then run up to her real fast. You'll need to scream and wave your weapons around to get her attention.

Nope. I don't plan on living long enough to do that. I've got a good few hundred years left in me. At least.

Yup. Something that shouldn't be a problem, given the perils of adventuring! :-)

Same thing, really.

I've no plans to head to Hell OR the Abyss, in any case, so that's not really an option for me.
