Next question, please.
Ms. Sillvari,
I have somewhat recently begun a career as a rogue in the service of the Pathfinder Society, based in Absalom. I am curious to compare notes with such an iconic figure as yourself. How much do you value physical power, especially in relation to speed and agility? During my training, many people advised me that I should spend less time with the weights and more time in the obstacle course; however, I felt a more balanced approach would better serve me in the field by enabling proficiency in whatever manner of athletic skill might be called for. I would say I possess strength and dexterity in equal measures at this point; what's your take on this topic?
Similarly, many fellow trainees believed that as a rogue I had a de facto obligation to develop my charm and personal presence. However, I felt that most applications of such aptitude were superfluous: anyone who might need to be lied to or intimidated is probably worth simply eliminating, and coaxing power out of magical items in the absence of a spellcaster is often inefficient anyway. All that leaves is matters of diplomacy, and diplomacy classes were much less burdensome to take than a full curriculum on the universal application of personal charisma. Even so, my bunkmates always balked at my priorities. Again, what's your take?
Thank you for your perspectives, Ms. Sillvari.

Speed and agility are super important. Strength doesn't really matter in the end if you're fast enough to run in, stab in a vital spot, and then run back out of range. Might take longer to kill a foe, but it's classier and neater and safer than just standing there and swinging a club.
And developing personal charm is good too. Because that's how you handle things that probably shouldn't be handled with stabbing. They're rare, but they happen.

Merisiel, how come you're the only one who talks to us? I mean, don't get me wrong, you're great - it's just your friends are great too and I'd like to ask them things. Any chance you could prod some of them toward making some appearances and answering some questions?
Probably because they're all too clogged up on their self-importantce. Fame's gone to their heads. They're all just kids though, so you can pardon them that.

*taps Merisiel on the shoulder, indadvertedly draining lots of con*
Fortunately, Con penalties don't impact sneak attack damage.
STAB.
Loots ulgulanoth's remains for what must be like the twentieth time, uses some of the loot to pay to have that Con drain restored, spends the rest on knives and moon pies.

Now, want to armwrestle?
It was merely an observation that greasy man-conflict type games are things dwarves get all worked up about, and as such it's not really anything I'm interested in participating in. I'll be glad to pick your pocket while you're armwrestling Harsk though!

Your proclivity for petty pickpocketing perturbs me.
I get that you're supposed to be "iconic", but you also kind of encourage stereotypes which I have no interest in fulfilling. I tell people I'm a rogue, and they expect a lying, thieving weakling who can't fight with anything bigger than a knife and needs to be protected. They look at me strange when instead I'm a strong, disciplined, sturdy athlete with a sword strapped to his back and a penchant for protecting his allies in the front lines.
On the other hand, you're cute. Curse you and your mind games! *shakes fist*

How many Paladins have you met? Do they all act the same, or do different Paladins have different personalities and ways of handling things?
I've meet Seelah, of course. Most of the other ones aren't ones I've spent a lot of time hanging out with. They're actually really REALLY creative at coming up with variable and unique ways to be annoying, though. They don't all act the same at all.

First, Merisiel, I am duty-bound to convey a message: "your services to Imperial Cheliax are appreciated, and in gratitude please accept this chest of coins and our warmest wishes." Hrmph. I imagine it has something to do with that expedition. The one with the snakes they're writing those ten-copper novels about.
In light of your meritorious service and the implied request that I not attempt to bring you to justice, are there any accomplices or rivals upon whom you would wish retribution? Do you recall their names and places of residence?

Do you know if you or any of the other Iconics will be appearing in Pathfinder Online? I know you and Ezren are pictured on the Goblinworks homepage, but I don't know if that's new art or re-used from a book I haven't seen.
That picture of us is snatched from other books (River Kingdoms and Advanced Player's Guide, I think). I've actually not been contacted by anyone at Goblinworks, nor have any of the other iconics. Whether or not we show up in there... I suspect we're still months and months away from knowing.
