Am I the only one that finds the PF cleric a bit pointless? (long)

Any new GOOD healing spells at 7th or/and 8th spell level?

I pretty much figured that after the APG and the many previews all about Wizards and Magi. Glad I didn't preorder this one after all.

Quick amendment - Clerics can take Druid domains or Inquisitions if they want. Though Inquisitions have no spells.

New archetypes
New channel options (not feat required just options to replace parts of channeling?)
New domains
New druid domains
New inquisitions

New domains - No, at least not of its own
New druid domains - Yes, if Nature oriented
New inquisitions - Yes, but these are really suboptimal for a Cleric

Niceness. Thank you for the information. I can't wait to get my copy -- I'm honestly not fond of clerics at all (no surprise there) but I like options.

The cleric's alternate channeling abilities are pretty much what I was thinking of. So unless I come up with enough for an entire Book of the Faithful, I'm not going to be doing anything. I doubt there is anything really missing given the thorough look the alternate channeling appears to have.

So UM gets a thumbs up in my book.

Just glanced through the pdf for Ultimate Magic. Initial impressions are positive, though I still need to read the details. If they work, the different options, especially the variant channeling, would be a big boon to the flavor of the class without adding too much power.
