Saving Shield Feat opinion

Rules Questions

so I'm looking at the Saving Shield Feat in the APG.

As an immediate action you can grant an adjacent ally a +2 shield bonus to their AC.

So what happens if the ally you're trying to help already has a shield? My first thought is that shield bonuses would NOT stack so it would be of no help (that's assuming your ally's shield bonus was already +2 or more. If they only had a small shield (+1 shield bonus) then the feat would help).

Agree/disagree?

Agree.

You have it completely sorted out. Shield bonusses does not stack with eachother, you just take the better of them.

Harald,

thank you for your response on this post and my other thread as well.

You are very welcome :)

Yep, I Agree Useless feat, should be reworked.-

It is far from "useless". Not everyone walks around with a +2 shield bonus to AC.
