Threnodic Spell

It's a metamagic feat published in Pathfinder Companion Osirion: Land of the Pharaohs.

The part that got me confused is this:

I thought maybe this feat changed the school type of the spell, or a spell magic aura, but it might be just flavor text.

The question could be: what school of magic would a caster perceive when casting Detect Magic on a spell modified by this feat?

Enchantment. The text is not nearly specific enough to say that it changes the school of the spell, which would have other consequences as well.
