The Raven Queen

3.5/d20/OGL

Idk if anyone has taken a liking to this Goddess like i have but i cant help but want to learn more about her. So does anyone know where i can find out more about her?

Also does she exist in Pathfinder?

Isn't this a 4e deity?

The closest Pathfinder parallel (who's still pretty cool!) would be Pharasma.

As the Raven Queen is a 4e deity, you might get more replies in the 4e section of the forums here.

(But I agree, she's one of the more interesting deities of that pantheon!)

I hope you're joking. The last thing any version of DnD/Pathfinder needed was an emo goddess of Chaotic Neutral.

Most ridiculous deity ever produced.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Unaligned, please. If you're going to thread-crap, get the facts right. ;)

There's a difference? ;)

If I recall, the Raven Queen is the new name for Wee Jas. She was a Lawful goddess of the Suel pantheon of Greyhawk who dealt with death, burial, magic and love. If she is who I think she is, there are tons of information about her in every previous edition, even including a Core Beliefs article in a Dragon Magazine issue.

There's no relation between them, I'm afraid. They're different entities with different purviews.

I do have information on her, see is indead a 4e diety. I have introduced her in my campaigns to go with my 4e Revenant convertion. The problem is posting the info I have is the copyright I will try and sort out where I found them and post them.

Damn for a private post function.

She has a little bit in the core book i think (but dont quote me). Alot of the stuff I found was in Dungeon magazine 171, this is an online issue. But it is the main stuff on her as the core book if I remember only has her base stuff like alignment and portfolio.

Hope this helps some what.

I guess I'm too stuck on Monte Cook's Ravenwitch, a really non-deity cool character, to get interested in a Raven-anything-else.

The Ravenwitch was uber cool, though.

And is 10 years older than the new WotC game.

i like seeing posts like this it makes me feel warm inside how others can have the time to click on a post labeled something they dislike then take the time to read it, but the best part has to be the fact that they post something thats not helpful at all and not continue to explain why they dislike it other than labeling it something and calling it a day.

Fixed link.

If I were to use her in Pathfinder, I'd probably give her the Darkness, Death, and Repose domains as they fit the fact that she's Queen of the Shadowfell (or Pathfinder's equivalent).
