Shadow Clone grant 1d4 clones, or 1d4+X?

The ability says it grants 1d4 images, but also references the spell and a caster level, which can grant more. So do you only ever get 1d4, or can you get 1d4+X?

Tis poorly worded. You get the amount listed in the ability's description, not the spell's.

Personally, I'd make it a 1d4 + 1, but that's just me...
