G.I. Joe a hero? Sure, if you like your heroes to make immoral offers to kids

Watch out for the kid with the honking big gun then.

...the live action movie... angered me to a point that I wanted to drive to California and beat the crap out of all those involved.
I was slightly annoyed by the movie as well.
Now, now, the movie wasn't all bad. Rachel Nichols and Sienna Miller were the best parts of the movie. Sadly, it looks like neither will be back for the sequel.

You mean the Harbinger of the Void? I prefer the RX 109 CraterMaker Assault Cannon and Soup Thermos.
Plus, that kid's got nothing on me in Crotch Soccer.
I'm off to the cinema. They're having a matinee showing of Bambi!
;-)

Except that they totally messed up both of their story lines. The Baroness wasn't American for starters.

I agree with you. I was more preoccupied with the actresses than how the writers screwed up the characters. {wanders off to console Rachel and Sienna}

Dear Hollywood,
Stop raping my childhood. Thank you.

Yes, and apparently, he wasn't that bad, either. Makes you think: How would the world be like today if they hadn't turned him down at the academy of arts in Wien...?
But maybe they meant to say that "We are fascists, but it's not really a defining trait" like nobody tends to think of Hitler's art very much.

What they rejected Hitler was that his art was too realistic, kind of in the style of Norman Rockwell, who considered himself an illustrator, not an artist, I often wondered. Since Hitler also considered himself an architect, what if some friend or benefactor, could have gotten him into an engineering school, possibly Gottengen in Germany, or MIT or Stanford in America

Given his childhood feelings of alienation toward Multiculturalism and 'Democracy' Adolf Hitler would still have voted for the Nazi party in their 10th election win in which the current Reichmarshal declared Germany would send German colonists to the Moon in '52.
