We had a bunch of showings earlier this week, then nothing yesterday or today. I'm so happy, because all I do is lie around and nap and blow my nose. However, the dogs are very UNhappy because we're not off to the park for hours each day. In hundred-degree heat, of course. Poor things. They do love it.
We returned from one showing, let the dogs out into the back yard, then found out that the people looking at the house had left the gate open. It was the gate on the far side from the driveway, so we didn't notice when we pulled in. Puffin had to chase after girl dog while I called boy dog in from the back yard. He's too much of a chicken to run away. We were mightily wroth.
I hope you feel better.
That wasn't cool of those people to leave the gate open. I'm glad your dogs didn't get away.
Morning, all. What did I miss?

Today I went to check out a comic book shop that I had heard had RPG products. That turned out to be false: comics, miniature, and boardgames, but no RPGs.
Next door was a crazy old-fashioned soda fountain that looked like it had been there since the 20s. I was able to get a tasty root beer float, so the trip was not a total bust.

Two players were sick yesterday so game got cancelled.
Also, my birthday is in two weeks. I feel odd about it for various reasons.
117 degrees yesterday. I still could believe it got that hot yesterday.
Here's to several bottles of water. Ladies and gentlemen, stay moist and wet.
*yawn*
Will it rain or will it not when I will going to or returning from session?

Is it just me, or is it kinda depressing that the most favourited post I've made on these boards is one where I'm just being a dick about someone forgetting that the 1900s were the 20th century, not the 19th?
On the plus side, I'm at least not having any problems posting.
Today D&D 3.5 session got canceled. Positive aspect is that it saves me journey on the other side of the city.

Hope everyone's doing better today. The 100th Tour has started, there's the British Grand Prix and lots of other great stuff.
A grand departure from yesterdays painting (interspersed with wandering around town and spotting some cute owls).

Is it a milestone birthday?

We had a "date night" last night. Went to a pricey seafood place overlooking the ocean. It was fun.

And reminds me, I went to a refurbished pub yesterday* for lunch. It was amazing with fresh cut chips and huge pie/burgers for a low low price.

Ugh, this one's paper only, and I don't have any comically oversized manila envelopes.

A quiet Sunday afternoon. I got my copy of It Came From the Stars from the Zombie Sky Press Kickstarter. I am digging the book so far. Taig did a piece of it. That badger do get around.
I have made some more banana bread. I am a banana bread fiend.
*sigh* Sight of the neighbor makes me sick... He keeps bothering me about agreeing to that staircase painting - I already told him that if he finds someone who will make it cheap enough I'll agree.
I'd love if he sold both apartments and went away and was replaced by someone less pesky.

I always try to stay moist and wet.
I also love banana bread. I become very happy when the bananas get to the pourable stage.
It's lovely here - 70's and alternating sun and showers. People are looking at the house. I'm watching some guy make okra on a stick. I have bronchitis.
Huzzah!

Going to be another 117 degree day in Las Vegas. Blue Dragons like soaking us the sun. I work the cab until 4:45. I have AC and plenty of water.

oh dear this massive application packet has a big section in comic sans
Nah, just going to be sure to include in my classroom rules that all assignments must be in a serif font for the sake of legibility and my [albeit depleted] sanity.
