One of these flags looks a bit out of place...

Morning? Another one? Again? Haven't we just got that?

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Just a quick visit before I get ready to face the day. More stuff to be done today, some of it the earlier the better.

Scarab Sages

I'm going to get one of the roof rack boxes for my Trailblazer. They've got a hard plastic one for around $130 at Pep Boys. That's the kind of thing that will be useful for a long time to come, especially since now we'll be able to drive in to New Orleans regularly for a long weekend. And with another kid along the way, we'll need the space.....

Scarab Sages

Anyway, time to get going. Bye for now.

I'm not falling for your trickery. It's the flag on the far right, isn't it?

No, it's the center one. Look how it refuses to unfurl.

Got a lot to do today so getting off Paizo early. Catch ya laterz FAWTLfolk.

Ah, nothing says catharsis like taking a cheap piece of HP printer/scanner and smashing it into unusable chunks. Off to brave the heat and purchase another color printer today.

No, sadly I misplaced my golf club and the billiard stick was from my brother's will and last testament. If I had used billiard stick, I'm sure his ghost would have risen from his ashes and haunt me until my last days.

In hindsight, I do have a baseball bat in the shed somewhere.

Hope the purchase of new printer goes well.

Probably not a good idea to use the billiard cue.

Very happy news on the job front. I'm heading back to Houston!

details for those interested:
To make a long story short, I lost my job at the end of January. I found another job and started in March, but it was nearly four hours away in northeast Texas. Also, let's just say I had some concerns about the company.

Every Monday I'd leave at 5 am, drive to work, and on Fridays, I'd drive back to Houston. Most of the time, the drive would be without incident. (Recall the two deer encounters)

Now I am back in Houston, with what seems like a fun company to work for, doing the kind of work I love. Improving manufacturing operations.

Only 9 calendar days left in my old job.

It's been a very difficult 5 months, but it seems like the darkness is ending.

Still working on my own campaign world, and just realized that all that seemingly useless information about the various cultures and mythologies of the world do have their own use when trying to come up with your own stuff. Also, I realized that Ifria (basically a continent equivalent of the Middle East and Africa) became the most intriguing continent, especially in regards to the races and nations of the desert region. Also, Kingmaker is nearing the end, with only 1 or 2 sessions left. After that, I can continue on with Legacy of Fire, though that will be put on hold for a moment due to one of the players getting drafted next month.

Why did I put that in italics? Ah, doesn't matter.

Morning? Again?

Actually, it's past noon here in Finland.
