If that don't work then curb stomp the b!+&% and show her punk was done in the 80's!

I agree, why do you think I told her "no" when she asked me if I thought she should go by "Kris".

Not. Going. To. Happen.

Nah, she actually felt really bad about it. She was just the person in charge of booking people. The people in charge of the venue are the ones needing to get curb-stomped.

Lands of Gloob and pecks around the edges twice then flies away...

Random thought... why is an uruk-hai scimitar classified as a scimitar? It looks nothing like it.

LOL! That name is so Gamma World I need to borrow it.

This will explain everything.

It's a slicing and chopping weapon, primarily.

Quiet night?

Only one post since I went to bed?

So long for beautiful weather.

It's rainish now.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! It's a rather dreary Friday, weather-wise. 'Tis raining, and the temperature has decreased again. Sad. Very sad.

On the other hand, the electrician's came out and took care of most of my home problems yesterday. So huzzah for that. And we finally figured out how the damnable water was getting to my breaker box in the basement.

I had, in the past, noticed it dripping from the bottom of the box during heavy rains. I thought it was due to the many cracks in my back patio concrete. I sealed those cracks and hadn't noticed any water dripping from the box.

Yet, when they opened the box yesterday, there was evidence of moisture. Turns out, were the power line comes into my meter outside there were spots the water was getting in and actually running down the interior of the cable, all the way to my panel in the basement.

So, some of that stuff got sealed up real well, and they're going to give me a quote to replace the cable, since the water's been running down the inside and it's got at least one slit in the outer lining.

Electricity creeps me out, by the way. As does having to do electrical work around the house. Because it can kill you. I'm too familiar with working with things that can kill you.

I can replace light fixtures, even outlets if need be, but any major work I find it best to leave to the professionals.

Scarab Sages

Because it can kill you.

Scarab Sages

Much like the steam systems I work on - not only will that s&~$ kill you, but it'll hurt the whole time you're dying.

And at some point I've got to get the oil changed in my car. That used to be the kind of thing I'd just do myself, but it's such a pain in the ass to dispose of the oil these days, I just find it easier to let the service center do it.

Besides, I've got to get them to fix something else anyway. Damn exterior rubber seal along the top of the windshield keeps popping loose. Very annoying.

I read where one of the greatest baseball movies of all time, The Sandlot, celebrated its 20th anniversary the other day. And I believe they came out with a new bluray edition. MUST! OWN!

All right folks. That's enough for now.

Back from (un)employment office. They reorganized the way the queue works - instead of single queue to first free office table there are separate queues divided by first letter of surname to different tables - I waited 20 minutes unlike hour and a half in old configuration.

Still nothing new, no job offers I would qualify for...

I think I'll take a nap.

I didn't think zombies had to worry about electricity.

I've had one good continental breakfast during a hotel stay.

Yeah, all I can say was that those were neither bacon nor eggs.
