YES IT IS!!!!!

Oh myyyyy...

That's not what I meant when I said that Freehold will ride it...

~gets the cameras rolling~ Come on! We can do this in one take. Freehold DM "riding" the Winter-Shell monster while naked!

I've met Freehold. Twice. He is not Lady Godiva...no matter how much he might want to be.

I saw the photos. *nods* The hair are just not there...

7 am. Is the the right time to get to bed?

I still need to work on my timing for waking up for a snow run.

Two hours is more than enough time to get ready.

And then add on the ten minutes before my alarm goes off that I wake up.

Edit: You'd think after doing this for fifteen years I'd get it figured out by now and not need to make adjustments after the first run of the year.

I blame enthusiasm. And rap music.

I saw Star Wars episode 9 tonight. I enjoyed it.

The real challenge today won't be shoveling snow, the challenge will be getting to all my jobs before the snow melts, as our high today is 31 degrees.

I get Fat Pervert Captain and Rocko (can't remember his name but he looks like a Rocko).

Could be worse, could be better.

Ok, that is clearly a conspiracy directed at me (or rather my wallet). This night was another one of meager amount of mediocre sleep, with hurting, trained neck, back, and base of skull muscles... What do I find in shop? Not one, not two, but THREE promotions for pillows!

Argh.

I bought the fancy shaped one which I not picked three months ago. We'll see if it is worth its price...

Also, new, cheapest mouse ("born for gaming" whatever that means except for pointlessly fancy frame) available purchased. The mouse wheel works fine.

Scarab Sages

I was nodding off already at 8:30, but I was still awake at 23:30, tossing and turning in bed.

There will probably be a migraine later today as I have smelled things that arent there, or are wrong. (car exhaust doesnt smell like soap)

I am officially worried.

Yeah, that sounds like a migraine. For me it's visual disturbances and light sensitivity with nausea.

And since I have the opposite sense of smell as Cap, mine get triggered by smells that nobody else notices (or they notice it 5-15 minutes after I already announced it) or I simply wake up with one due to my neck issues.

Ok, now I see. It has internal LEDs that cycle through a number of colors (red, purple, blue, purple, red) making it glow in the dark...

Ah, well, it costed less than my lunch today, so when it breaks, it shouldn't be a big problem. The wire is fancy, covered in woven cord.

I need to get used to it, though. It feels like its mouse buttons are more sensitive than the old mouse.

Rocko and Fat Pervert Captain definitely do not have the same level of detail as I do.

It's a good thing I get paid substantially more than they do, otherwise it might annoy me.

Another "winter" monster: great arctic slug. Hopefully, Freehold won't insist on touching this one...

Also, I'm pretty sure Rocko has a flask he's been drinking from, because he still smells like booze.

ALL (DE) went back home today, and we still haven't quite finished off 'Brak the Barbarian', but no matter - we know exactly what will happen in the next chapter.

* Brak will probably get captured.
* There will be a gigantic supernatural monster, called something like Scream-Trout, or Duck-Venom.
* There will be a wicked sexy sorceress, with lips that resemble fruit of some sort, who proper fancies Brak.
* Brak will nob about haplessly like a savage Norman Wisdom, and only escape certain death and eternal torment by accident.
* Thews and thews and thews.

Also today, I did some amateur tree surgery, did some exercise, played the guitar, made some goat curry and put in my application to be Thin Pervert Captain. I am not going back out tonight.

Fat Pervert Captain took a half hour deuce.

With only three houses left to do.

And then Rocko insisted he had to go to let his dog out.

I dropped them both off and finished my last few myself.

Yup, it was only a 11.5 hour run, pretty chill for a snow run.

Not a lot going on here tonight, you'd think it's some sort of holiday or something.

So, yesterday, my family finally, *finally* finished our Legend of Zelda-based RPG game, *Phantom Winds*. There are plenty of mysteries still left over, and plenty of things left unexplained, but over-all, I'd say it was a massive success - especially with my kids begging me to continue it (and even my wife wanting me to do extra scenes), even though we not only defeated the final bad guy, but also had a whole credits-roll thing happen, and even described stuff "years later" for all of them... and (at least the kids) requested so even today, repeatedly asking for more. We did have fun talking through stuff much of the day. Good times and a good way to end off the year.

Me: I have a friend from my wife's college days who is a HUGE Oingo Boingo fan

Rocko: Is that a band, or something?

Damn kids.

That sounds like something I would do (though probably not in someone else's house... then again, I've never done this kind of work, so. No judgement from me, at least.

captain yesterday wrote:

This sounds much less like me. But, again, I don't know what was happening in his guts.

This sounds explicitly not like me!

This just sounds like jerks.

I will try and fail to stay awake to see the new year.

Oxycodone makes me suuuper drowsy.

We will see if I make it to midnight.

Aiymi didn't make it to 3:15pm. I got off work early for a neck appointment, went to that, got home to find her asleep on the couch with one of the cats. She woke up, got up, and went to bed. She's been there ever since.

I'm currently "reading" campaign setting books in my office.

I'm not sure if my brain is actually absorbing any of the words but the pictures sure are pretty.

Yes, sleep deprivation is a lot like being stoned, which is all fine and dandy if you don't have to drive anywhere (which I don't).

Which means I will have to touch it a fair amount.

Also, I may unleash a bunch of them onto a naked woman. If only to maintain my reputation.

Twelve hour shift done, time to enjoy my two days off before a long work weekend. At least I should be able to get some documentation done Saturday and Sunday.

Soooo, four hours of sleep on the new pillow.

No headache, no serious strain to neck. Still feeling weirdish and not completely satisfied with the quality of sleep, though that might be matter of short length. Also, I don't think sleeping on the left side would be as good as on right side, though we'll see in future.

Also, yes, I went to bed before midnight.

First echoes of queasiness in the back of the skull and some notes of strain in the neck. Further pillow's tests following soon.
