I love black liquorice. Not that bland black colored thing but REAL liquorice. And I love it. I used to buy liquorice branch in a pharmacy when I was a child and chew it. I also like natural unsweetened liquorice.

I can't really think of a reason not to downgrade Exotic Weapon Proficiency from feat to trait. It just isn't good enough to be a feat, but it needs some cost. Also, having it as a trait makes it more reasonable for me to make bows exotic weapons, under the logic that, as a firearms heavy setting where it's fluffed that the army prefers muskets and bows are largely used by specific types of ki warrior (any Path of War character is a ki warrior), not mundanes, it kinda makes sense that the knowledge of archery has become a lot rarer. A civilian needing a hunting or defense weapon is going to buy a firearm, after all, and those are simple weapons in my world.Maybe I should just convert some other weak feats to traits, too, and have an untyped trait category that lacks a restriction on how many traits in that category you can take. You can take a feat to get two traits at any level, so that basically would make weaker feats two-for-one.
The trait category was my biggest concern, since they would most likely be Combat which not only means locking all the other Combat Traits but no other EWP (not that I've ever really seen anyone take more than one), i like your solution though :3

One of the best candy shops we had in my town imported all the sweets from Sweden. They closed last year but they had very good products.

The taste of absinthe is enough to keep me from having any "Green Fairy" episodes. It's one of the few things I "shouldn't" (note the bunny ears) do that I actually don't want to do.

It's going to be a quiet week for NH around here... 4 days of being bedridden followed by a day in Disneyland and a day of catch-up cleaning means that I have a ton of catch-up at work, and Impus Major is now so inundated with homework that I want to personally throttle every single one of his teachers.
Just as an example, on Monday of last week he received 5 1/2 hours of homework, all due Tuesday. Considering he gets home at 4 pm, that would have been a day of, "Go to school at 7:30 am, get home at 4 pm, work solid 'til 9:30 pm, go to bed and repeat tomorrow."
A workload of that once per quarter would not be unreasonable.
A workload of that at least once per week is unforgivable.

Being an invulnerable twentysomething, of course. In 1987 I did a 7-week tour of Europe for a total cost (including airfare and Eurail pass) of $2200. I didn't speak Italian, so I didn't feel like wandering around trying to find a local shop that spoke English, so I figured I'd survive for a couple of days with just whatever condiments I'd happened to pick up in Germany.
Yep. Being 20. Good times. Stupid decisions!

In 1987 I doubt you could find many people speaking English in southern European countries. Even now that English is taught in all schools instead of French a lot of Europeans might look at you like you were summoning devils if you spoke in English at them xD
My coworkers have seen me posting at the boards a few times and they ask me why do I write in English and why don't I look for a board with the same information but in Spanish. They also think I am some kind of genius for being able to write in English.

Licorice stout is a thing, y'know.
And they grow (or grew) it around Pontefract, West Yorkshire. LiquorBritice.
And it was given to candidates for knighthood after their vigil in the chapel.

Oh, traveling in Germany in 1987 while fluent in German was a BLAST!
No one could pinpoint my accent, because everyone knew all 'Mericans on German soil were military, and none of them ever bothered to learn German.
You wouldn't believe how much free food (and beer) I got in Germany (plus special treatment at the youth hostels, like private rooms) just for being an American who'd bothered to learn German...

It bothers me that it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that:
1) The word Freehold kept writing was "lick wish" and not "lickwash",
2) It was simply a creative spelling choice and
3) Not actually some weird sex thing I hadn't heard of before.
