Silver Crusade

Being naked helps a little.

Scarab Sages

Mrgh. Kind of late getting started, by almost 2 hours. On top of that, I found out that my people missed some shots last night and we have to go back into the space I thought we were done with.

Soooo.....that means we likely won't get off the ship before midnight.

My out brief is at 1300 tomorrow. Not sure if that'll leave enough time for me to fly home tomorrow evening, or wait until Wednesday. Also depends on when I can get a flight out.

For those of you interested, I will be at the bookstore signing books on Saturday. At least, until security throws me out. :D

Spoiler:
Doesn't matter which series, Harry Potter, romance novels, those Dummies series. I'll sign them all!

That is all.

There's a lot of that going around.

Nobody ridicules me when I'm naked though.

Envies is more like it.

Teams are for chumps.

Or spunging off of for lunch.

We had 3 people call in sick and 1 on jury duty on a team of less than 20. I really felt it.

I'm on a team of two, so.....nobody's ever sick.....

"What is this thing called,......lunch....everybody keeps talking about?..."

Eggs El Cid

May your larvae grow chaotic..., SIR!

Scarab Sages

Done with my inspection, so I'm both happy and sad.

Happy because I get to go home and get back to my comforting routine.

Sad because I have to leave the ship. I was really starting to like the crew. They were a big help and fun to be around. It's rare that I get that kind of cooperation.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmm....beer.

Scarab Sages

Now I'm feeling a bit lonely.

You called?

And then the zombie disappears :P

We're coming for you...

Why sir did you do that? Now you must realize this means war!

Some music, a book, and a pint of good cider - what more do you need?

a.k.a. "Look at me! Look at me!"

The Exchange

Money, a woman and good friends to share good times with.

The Exchange

Also, 'deep fried' mars bars?

Meh - it's Scotland. (Also, I think they mostly do it for the tourists.)

Liberty's Edge

Gawd I hate being sick. I've had nothing but sips of warm water for the past 20 hours and I can't even keep that down.

You should've put some tea-leaves in the water. ;)

But on a serious note: Ouch, that sounds like it sucks. Hope you get better.

Yea Mothy, get better. Fighting sugar pikes right now and I hate it.

Wow. It's been quiet.

Math test in twenty minutes. Here's hoping I can remember everything I need. :)

Also, yes, it's been exceptionally quiet lately.

Kajehase, nice pic. :)

Mothman, I hope you feel better soon.

BP, good luck getting the sugar under control.

I haven't been to Scotland since '99. Had a blast there, castle hopping. Maybe next year...

I don't think it'll be giving you any problems.

Sugar's under control again, but I hate the sweats.

Whoops. Time for a...conversation...with your body's...ah..pancreas? What organ controls your body's blood sugar again?

I had thought you where older and well, vikingisher :-)

Aeglos, I saw pics of you and your girlfriend in the other thread. You two are adorable!!!

Adcock. Ha! I like the urinal, but the cat was plain spooky.

Kinda wish I'd look older sometimes - I'm 32 and still has to show ID to buy booze. As for looking more vikingish... should have seen my last winter - 4 months of temperatures that never went above -10 is a good disincentive to shaving when you work outdoors. ;)

And the cats aren't mine - phew! double-;)

If things go as planned, Houston may be seeing more TOZness in a year or so.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Mothman, I'd share a remove disease, but I used up all my 3rd level spells preparing water walk. It makes me look hella cool when I use that.

Feel better!

FHDM, apparently that test really paid attention to your little talk. ;P

Aside from forgetting the easy way to find the coefficient on the binomial theorem problems and having to do it the long way no real difficulties. :)

We must turn Houston into a FAWTL mecca!

As someone who learned maths from a choleric Norwegian trying to speak Swedish, let me be the first one to say: The easy way?

For some reason, this REALLY cracked me up. My stomach hurts from laughing so hard.

That sounds...difficult.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk. Meeting with the port engineer and ship in a few to close out my inspection. Less time than I thought, but both more and less than I cared for. Not sure if I'll get a chance to fly out today or not. Depends on what's available after my meeting.

nCr instead of actually multiplying the whole thing out...and I think I might have made some mistakes now. Darn it. Well, hopefully the extra credit will make up for the lost points.
