Ugh! Boy threw up again, right after his afternoon nap. All over the carpet upstairs. And the baby gate, which I had to take down.

A bit later, he was crying and screaming because he was hungry. Doctor's office said not to give him anything for 8 hours or so. We ended up giving him a bit of applesauce, though, just to calm him down.

He's in a much better mood now. We'll see if it lasts.

Thank the gods it's the damn weekend.

Dang. I hope he feels better tomorrow. :(

The worst was having to clean it up. Although I think I got off easy. The morning puke was cheese-based and rancid as hell. The afternoon stuff was banana-based.

Where is the prof?

He's busy professorializing. I've seen him on the boards every once in a while.

Augh! Stupid technical difficulties....I hope I never have to take another online course. >.<

Bleh. Well, other than sick kidlet it's been a pretty good day. And sick kidlet is getting better. And nothing near as bad as the sick zombie kidlet. Hope that Charlie feels better soon. Baby vomit is not fun. For anyone.

+1 to the get betters for Charlie.

Yeah, baby vomit is certainly no fun... I know, I was baby a millennium ago myself.

Going sleep. I have a session tomorrow.

It seems odd to empathize with your vomit situation, but curiously I do.

Probably the worst gig I've ever played, but the most fun.

Meh, I excused myself out of clubbing at mere 23:00 yesterday just to be able to get up today and go to session on 14...

Ooo Keyyy... I looked through the window to check the weather and I saw that everything in front and to the left is dry but to the right is wet... Apparently my home stays exactly at the edge of rain...

Charlie seems to be doing better. No vomit since yesterday afternoon. We'll see.....

I'm still working through my own sickness. Hoping I didn't pick up what the boy had.

Try appeasing them with some nice social democratic reformist slogans. Mind you, depending on the type of communist they might just get even more belligerent.

Meh, they're Trotskyites. They're likely fleeing Stalinists pushing them out of their committees, as such things usually go.

So what you're saying is that if they get too rowdy, all you have to do is show them your ice-pick?

*goes looking for the book with Anthony Burgess's libretto for his operetta Trotsky in New York*

Yeah, he's amazing. I don't necessarily mean his politics but just his eloquence, determination and ability.

And I would go for a Shepherd's Pie, unless you have some meat and gravy for the puddings.

Good morning folks.
