Yup, that's what Fargo and the pillow fort are for.
I've already been to the grocery store, got Tiny T-Rex ready for, and walked to school, had to pick up the yard because the mowers are out, walked the dog, paid the utilities on the east side, walked the dog again, and here we are.
If you haven't seen the second season of Fargo I highly recommend it.

If you know any of them it would likely be her dad, a now retired photographer, but you may have seen/heard her brother as he's been known to sing/perform in the Orlando area. Her dad has been living in Merritt Island for about 25 years now.
Ah, no, alas.
I don't actually know anyone "famous" from the area.
XD

The wallet I left on the dryer, so of course it dropped between the washer and dryer.
My keys I left on the bathroom floor.
The dog hid the shoes under the bed.
And the phone I set down, and then buried in a laundry basket in the rush to get Tiny T-Rex ready.
Thankfully, I found the wallet right away.

I've been there, my dude. I'm with you.
It'll get better!

Ok, the wallet falling between the washer and dryer...that could have been there for months before it was found. Good catch on that one.

I'm given to understand it has magical tornados to other lands that fetishise green and yellow.
Yes. Yes it does. But you're thinking of The Great Plains. It isn't taught correctly in US schools anymore, but the Midwest is Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and nobody wants to claim Missouri, but I vaguely remember their official paperwork puts them in the Midwest.
Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Both Dakotas...these are the Great Plains states. The eastern halves of Colorado and Wyoming are similar, but they tend to be lumped in with the Mountain states. Great Plains tend to get more tornadoes than we do, and we have more than our fair share.
EDIT: And no, I don't care that Wikipedia lumps the Dakotas, Nebraska, and Kansas in the Midwest. It's wrong and my childhood is correct.

So, Daredevil S2 brings just as much grimdarkness as the first, while simultaneously being more hopeful.
Impressive - most impressive.
Three episodes in, so far.
It's impressive the way it mixes idealism with realism and points out genuinely negative consequences for following idealistic (if good) paths.
And the fight scenes continue to be really impressive.
I think there is a slight energy that the first one had that is missing in the second - the second has more rhetoric and can be a bit preachy - and I also think that, while Frank is clearly wrong (for a host of reasons) the unilateral condemnation of killing is the same sort of naivete that leads to other people dying as demonstrated in the series.
The problem, and this I understand, is coming to a recognition of who needs to die and who does not.
This is what the heroes struggle with - they don't wish to become the judge, jury, and executioner, because with that much power they fear their own corruption or that they will accidentally get others hurt.
This is a valid argument, and is extremely legitimate, but sounds much weaker than the actual argument they use, "You're a monster - killing is always wrong."
The problem with the argument, "killing is always wrong" is that it's not really true.
It should be "killing is always a bad thing" but the thing is, sometimes it's necessary.
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." is sort of true, but if you just let people take eyes whenever they feel like it, the only ones left with eyes are the cruel and unjust.
Punisher goes to extremes - he puts others in danger because he is extremely arrogant and overconfident in his capabilities... or he is of the opinion that the ends justify the means.
The problem is: sometimes they do. You can't always do that, though.
Anyway, it's a good series, so far.

I don't know about the American school system but how good or bad it is has very little sway over how much I know about the Midwest. Given that I'm English xD.
Hello Shrus, thanks for the greeting.
I found Daredevil 2 kinda boring, I don't like the whole killing can never be good thing that Daredevil has going for him, it just frustrates me because of how repetitive plots are.
I'm not sure how far through you are so the only other things I'll say are Daredevils and other characters skills seem to be vastly inconsistent and fluctuating. Which is lazy in my opinion.
A couple characters are introduced, I liked both of them to begin with but I got bored of one.

I'm aware. I failed at communication. Since kids in the US are no longer learning everything they should be for a multitude of reasons that generally stem from the US educational system, and the fact that you are not American, I didn't expect you to know the difference between Kansas and any other state in the US, other than what you can glean from a map.

John, any good Java sources?
Yeah. "Teach yourself Java" by Herbert Schildt would be a good place to start.
Also: Hello everybody. Still around, just very busy at the moment.

Great synopsis, TL! I agree that both Frank and DD are fundamentally flawed in their means and/or goals.
DD's idealism is why, despite his show's flirtation with grimdark themes, he is still very much a classic goody-goody hero in my mind.
And that whole thing is why Punisher is getting his own series. I can't remember the actor's name, but yet again, another great performance in a Marvel Netflix show.
Also, what?! WOOOOOOOOOOOT!

Possibly face time is when one does one's makeup.
Or when one grimaces at one's next door neighbour through one's windows.
Or when one sets aside half an hour to entertain one's favourite member of the A Team.
Or some sort of instant electronic moving picture application designed to transmit images between portable electronic communications devices.
Or a sort of elk.

Face time is when u talk face to face on the phone
*rolls eyes like only the parent of a teen can* Oh, I know. The kidlet and his bff FaceTime constantly. His friend's dad commiserates with me sometimes about how we wish they would just text like normal people. Instead we have to listen to the same convo about zombie cows or something like that in minecraft that they've been talking about for like four years. ;P

I guess I'm just lucky. My kids don't DO social media.
Instead, they get on PvP games (League of Legends, Overwatch, Team Fortress 2, or dozens more) and do utterly stupid things to entertain themselves. Because... they're games. And they never goof off in ranked games.
My favorite is when Impus Major gets on Overwatch (platinum-ranked) or Team Fortress 2 (over 1000 hours play time) and starts calmly explaining to a rager why he shouldn't rage.
My favorite moment ever: He said, "Are you really that unhappy that we're losing?"
Then a HUGE sigh. "Oh, OK."
He proceeded to annihilate the other team, let his team get into position, waited until a critical moment, and then said, "Oh, my dad says I have to do homework now. I guess you're on your own," and quit.
I think he might have made the other guy's head explode...

Trying to find where I misplaced that recipe for pumpkin brownies. I know I had it around here somewhere...
Also tried a new pumpkin spice ground cocoa drink. You make it like coffee, but it's chocolate. I kinda love it.
It's a chocolate kind of day. It keeps the dementors away...or at least makes them easier to deal with
