Currently snowing in Syracuse. Last year, it didn't snow until January 5th. This has also been the autumn of 30* to 40* temperature swings over the course of a day. What the f@!~ is going on? Did we lose our atmosphere or something?

I've just had an epiphany-- I enjoy science fiction stories (or at least stories with the trappings of science fiction) way more than I enjoy straight-up fantasy stories.
So, my point is, does anyone want to run a PbP of that bootleg Mass Effect RPG that almost won an ENnie before it got disqualified?

Not a scientist, but from what I heard it has to do with adjustments to ocean currents from warmer water temperatures down south mixed with icemelt from the Arctic making things all screwy.
