FAwtlball.

I hope that's like the brutal futuristic football in Blood of Heroes.

Oh no way I am playing that nekkid. I like to keep my various FHDM-bits where they are, thanks.

Until I get all cybered and chrome, that is. It'll be totally wizard, chum. Not sure if I'd go for wired reflexes, but I think FaWtl would be FAWESOME in the Matrix.

One of my all time favorite cheesy Rutger Hauer movies. Blind Fury only slightly edges it out.

Diane has never seen Split Second, and I can't find it anywhere.

Not even netflix? I heard that there was a problem with some of his movies being INCREDIBLY hard to find, but netflix reunited me with Blood of Heroes, they should have that one as well.

Yeah, Salute of the Juggers was great. I still have that on VHS somewhere. Rutger Hauer rocks.

My favorite is Flesh + Blood. Split Second was great too.
I haven't seen that Blood Of Heroes...

Salute of the juggers? What?

Too late. I already got the discount.

A succssful saving throw against posting response to some posters in Hoosexuality In Golarion thread. *sigh*

And I hoped the thread will return to its regular constructive discussion instead of being derailed...

Also, another night of sitting in front of computer and hitting the browser's refresh button...

Nope. It's not on Hulu, nextflix DVD or on line, or comcast on demand.

This for those who haven't played Mass Effect. ;)

Nothing like a grizzly bear to bring a satisfying end to a first session.

No, I didn't TPK. ;)

Arrgh!
Is MArdi Gras Weekend over yet?!?

I swear, just loading IN the Kids Krewe,... Grrr,...

Actually the load in went well today, almost pleasantly so in fact.
Even the rehearsal wasn't bad.

But the kids AFTER the rehearsal,... and the parents,... ;P

I don't know who to spank,... first,... ;/

How about Grifball?

My favorite was the scientist singing his space version of Pirates of Penzance.

Salute of the juggers? What?

The Salute of the Jugger, (or 'The Blood of Heroes'), set in a post apocalytic wasteland, the only past-time is a brutal 'sport', resembling American Football/Rugby/Speedball. Rutger Hauer is a rugged veteran fighting for former glories and teaching a young protege, Joan Chen.

So whoops, I only know it from it's UK title. Just like the 'Avengers Assemble' movie.

will make contact with the vips to see if they are still en route. Flights may be delayed. If we're going to be in Christopher street area, then there is only so far to go/so much to do-its all within a handful of blocks of each other.

hm, week7, flight, christopher street

sounds like I know your VIP's, right?

Huh? Seems I got a spider and a gargoyle instead of Ameiko and Shalelu... Which is weird, seeing as how the itemised list of the package is correct.

Guess I'll have to get in touch with customer service once the router is working properly again.

Although I can't help but notice that the spider is no longer available as a single...

But spiders are fun!!

So now the PC's will have to escort a spider to the top of the world & fall in ♥ with it?

:P

Well, I did say the spider isn't available as a single anymore - so I guess they'll have to skip the :3 part.

i love spiders. They eat things. And I am superstitious around them. I will not idly harm one, for fear of something happening to my aunt, and I would rather move one to another part of the house if it happens to cross my path.

I think they're kinda cute in a creepy multi-eyed bug kind of way.

Spiders are great. They eat insects that we don't want. They are typically harmless to us. They make cool webs. And they look pretty silly in an awesome way when plodding along. Yay spiders.

My wife....not so much. And so, for her, any spider I come across in my house (except the basement or the garage) is a dead spider.

Also, good morning to all my FAWTLY brethren - even the ones who plan get togethers in New York but never come down to see me.

Craptastic weather this morning - cold and rain. And it's only supposed to get worse as the day goes on.

Scarab Sages

Luckily, the snow is supposed to stop by tomorrow morning. Just in time for me to clean it all up, then go DM some Kingmaker.

I think I'll TPK.

Scarab Sages

Or at least I suspect it will happen without much effort on my part.

Scarab Sages

Haven't heard back from my players about which one is going to take the Leadership feat, and what kind of cohort they were thinking of. I think I'll go ahead and roll up a few potentials for them, just in case.

Scarab Sages

I have my mini of the BBEG for this particular chapter of Kingmaker...

Spoiler:
Vordakai the cyclops atrophied lich

It's the first metal mini I've ever purchased. He's not painted, but at least I glued his arms on.

Scarab Sages

I meant to paint it, but never got around to it. I'd have had to get my buddy to help, since I don't have paints, or a brush, and have never painted a mini before.

Scarab Sages

Time for a bit more coffee.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmmm......

Yes, yes you do! But jfk and laguardia are closed due to weather concerns, so things will have to wait until next week methinks.

Scarab Sages

My kid woke up at 0300 this morning. Wife went in, changed his diaper, then put him back down. He was awake again at 0330. Nothing wrong with him, just ornery. Finally, we just had to close his door, close our own, and let him cry himself back to sleep.

Scarab Sages

Snow! Snow! Snow! Come on snow! Wallup this s@*@ out of New York! FHDM wants you to.

I have Arachne as one of the deities in my homebrew setting. I'm personally far too amused by the idea of a Lawful Good spider goddess after years of Greyhawk and Faerun with Lolth.

Araneas are descended from her, and Driders (renamed Arachnes) are evolved ancient Araneas who have reached a mature form rather than warped Drow (which are also completely different in my books). They also tend toward neutrality, good, or lawful rather than CE.

I swaer, if they see just one drop of rain at Philly airport it f%&#s up the whole place for days.

It's like all the workers are related to the Wicked Witch and afraid they'll melt of they get wet.

Where is Arachne from originally?

Scarab Sages

All this f@#*ing cold we've had for the last few weeks has dried my sinuses out so bad I keep getting slight nose bleeds.

AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!
