As the badgah has indicated, it was a literal year in the making with its own trial and tribulations. I'm glad to see that the Art du Jour finally made its way to Redmond.

I recently discovered that the white part of my family is Scottish, not Irish. Should I start doing things differently?Yes you need to drink scotch and wear a kilt instead of drinking Irish Whiskey. As well as drink perhaps some different beers and wield a claymore rather than a Falchion.
Falchion what? As I recall, Ireland isn't in the Arabian Peninsula...

Star Wars d20 was fun tonight. The 13 year old in the game is very sharp, but he has a speech impediment. He got to do some key role playing in character to advance the plot, and he did a great job! It's very cool to see these little victories when kids overcome something and have fun doing it. :)

we had pretty heavy snowfall on our way back from the alps yesterday, driving was not fun :-(
I don't often share this type of stuff, but I could use some of those prayers and thoughts for our friend Tom who was hospitalized for a stroke, he's a good guy and his wife and he are close friends of Solnes'.
