WOOHOO!! I'M INVISIBLE!!!

Scarab Sages

So, since my wife has a busy week, she asked me if I could bring Charlie to daycare each morning and pick him up in the evening. I said sure.

This morning, she pulls out the driveway as I'm loading the kid into my Trailblazer. I get him to daycare, and get to work. As I pull into the parking lot at work, she's just getting out of her car.

Yeah, I'm that awesome of a driver. Also, she drives like a grandma.

I keep telling her she's going to make an awesome grandma one day, because she already drives like one.

Scarab Sages

And if I've already posted something like that, please excuse me - old age thing....

Scarab Sages

Bwahahahahahaha...

Scarab Sages

All right folks. Enough miniblitzing for now. Later.

Good morning FAWTL

Good morning, Fawtlies. Can't a brother get some help brainstorming? (PIE)

Is this a job that you are applying for?

You know it was the biggest movie opening ever, right? Your hatred is doing nothing to prevent Joss Whedon from becoming a very rich man.

And likely to direct scads of movies in the future!

Envy knows no logic.

Schadenfreude, though, does and is very much amused by his flailing.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

No, Zombie, save your hate for Whedon. He's the guilty party here.

Such repeated references imply not truly hate but more accurately obsession.

Have something you'd like to confess FHDM? Would you like to come out of your bunk? It's okay, we won't judge you too harshly.

I suspect it requires more IT-knowledge than I have (and quite probably involves investigating where images I can live perfectly fine without ever having seen originated or have been hidden), so nope.

But if some IT-savvy FAWTL person feel like a move to Sweden, here's a chance. ;)

Me? Envious of whedon? Surely you jest. The only thing he has that I might desire are his lovely toys (that cap shield does look cool) and his bank account (as my beloved [and often painfully imitated,as whedon imitates others] yoshiuki tomino, said, everyone needs to make money).

For most of the envious, that's more than enough ;)

actually, I have no problem with him making money, I wish him great success in his endeavors. I just want to see original work or, at the very least, his inspirations given the acknowledgement they deserve.

That's fair. Perhaps not due the massive loathing projected (though I suppose that's probably mostly for show ;) ) but fair.

Mostly just ribbing for snickers anyway, heh.

I do have one complaint about Whedon's Avengers movie...

In True Whedon Fashion:
...he killed off Agent Coulson.

Oh no, the loathing is quite real, I assure you. But just because I loathe him doesn't mean I don't think he should enjoy his earnings. My hateratin for him and his bank account can exist side by side, especially if I am able to engage him in a game of chance and win a substantial sum.

I can't wait to enjoy the shocked looks on the faces of moviegoers as I cheer.

We have the same complaint. I had to roll my eyes at that part.

Yeah that was kind of a low blow, I have to agree.

Still, you did have to expect it.

Also all the info on it I looked up afterward was really ambiguous about it. So I dunno.

I agree that it could easily be reversed. This is a Marvel universe after all.

I think that would make me hate it more.

I actually feel quite awake for a Monday yay.

Our party had been split and sent to the Material Plane (2 PC's), and the First World (1 NPC & my PC's Horse). The remainder of the party ran away. Except for our Sorcerer who got turned to stone. Prismatic Spray is bad mojo. When you are on the receiving end of it. We got back together and went back after Nyrissa. Fought a Linnorn Wurm and almost lost the F10/C6 (mine). A good time was had by all and there were grilled hamburgers to boot.

So having one of those days where I feel completely dead inside, with sharp feelings of rising panic. Damn you anxiety.

Spoiler:
There's a rumor going around that he's contracted to do Iron Man III, so if it's true, someone proposed a theory from a line that Stark made in the movie about how it might be possible that he could reappear ...

Stretching it, though.

Speaking of hate, there's some hating on The Raven out there.

Also, Obscure PIE.

Stay strong Jeremy.

Also: Darn butterfingers, that post was not one to "favourite."

How the heck is Wizards already moving to 5.0? Was 4E just that plain bad for finances? It hasn't even been ten years yet.

Dark Archive

My guess is that it did not do what they expected. Perhaps Hasbro had different expectations? Not sure if this new version is going to bode well for the game or not. Not sure Hasbro purchasing them has helped the game on the wizards of the Coast side but it did bring in a strong second player Paizo so I am happy. Perhaps if it fails it might be spun off by the company?

Soooo....is htis your big problem with him? Because you've just described, probably, every movie director/writer in the history of human civilization.

I think Taig needs to stat it up. Maybe it could be a variety of ogre. With similar... appetites.

If this were true, we would not have copyright lawyers making a successful living. Apparently, my clothing was copyrighted. I knew I shouldn't have signed that contract.
