Oh woe is me! No Kingmaker this Sunday. At least I have Space Marines and Skyrim to help through the withdrawals.
GMs deserve some time off too, you know!
Parents arrived safely, are relaxing at home while I slave away at work. :) Even Houston's clouds and rain are a good improvement over the snow and ice in Michigan. :)

*looks outside*
What snow and ice? It's a beautiful sunny day, and a balmy (for february) 40 degrees outside. :)

As opposed to......fake tacos?
That's a good way to describe fast food tacos, yes.
But really, I meant authentic Mexican tacos instead of the Americanized versions.
One thing I can give to LA is the good Mexican food. However, it does not make up for the lack of decent Italian food.

The pizza out there is terrible.

Carl's is just rebranded Hardees, and the food is just as terrible. (YMMV)
And yes, the pizza is an abomination. Seriously, you mean to tell me that not once has a New Yorker ever gone to LA and brought a pizza recipe with him? It's not like it's a trade secret - there are thousands of great pizza places on the East Coast. Get a clue, Angelenos.
And even in the Jewish neighborhoods you can't get a decent bagel. What's up with that? Brueggers would make a killing if they set up shop here. Everyone here is on the hunt for good bagels (it's an actual topic of conversation) and no one is supplying them.
Mmmm. Brueggers.

today we took a walk around our church, the Bergkirche. It is the church for 5 villages around the hill it stands on.
The Church is build around 1500 but that hill is sacred ground much longer, the oldest chrtistian church up there was in the 12.th century and there is evidence of a celtic temple.
Behind the church is the old cementry, it was used until 1830. My ancestors ly there

Neat photos aeglos!
I have a lot of ancient lichyards near my house as well. All of my ancestors are buried up in Canada though. The ones around here are mostly Puritan/Congregationalist burials dating from the 17th centuries. The churches aren't as nice as yours, they are mostly wooden clapboard (no one used stone around here-there were too many trees and not enough mountains)
