And you are......? ;) There are days when I wonder the same thing. Luckily my name is on my computer to help remind me... Of course, only while nekkid...
Hey All, What is up? I have been away for a while it seems and the reading through the 1,000+ posts seemed a little too daunting of a task. Did I miss alot?
Pretty much just the usual Gruumash. A few blitzes, highs and lows, Moorluck and Solnes got a new dog, a few people (Jess and Flash most recently) had birthdays, stuff like that.
This is an incredibly slow day in Paizoland. What's up, FAWTLies?

Celestial Healer wrote: This is an incredibly slow day in Paizoland. What's up, FAWTLies? Summer/Christmas holiday in two days. Trying to get two weeks of work done in those two days.
Then it's Sea World, Movie World, and Santa Claus.... Sitting on the back verandah of my parents house looking at the pool. Alternatively it's floating in their pool with a Bundy and coke looking up at the verandah from the pool watching dad throw some steak and snags on the BBQ .
It's watching cricket on dads mega 3D TV and bone shattering surround sound system. Drinking beer and making fun of New Zealand.
This time next week, I should be on vacation. :D

You?

You? It's not okay. It's cathartic.
I think if things don't change soon someone will suffer.
Anyway, I'm going to log off for the night so as to not inflict my bad mood upon you guys.
What does your wife do Mac, and who are the idiots?
Celestial Healer wrote: This is an incredibly slow day in Paizoland. What's up, FAWTLies? For me, it's having a turn a single parenting for the week while the wife is in Portsmouth.
less than 4 days........until a vacation......sweet.

This is my 4th year not working retail over Christmas, and I still avoid stores this time of year.

To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig is what we really like to do

If you dig dig dig with a shovel or a pick

Morning fellow FAWTLy Folk. Had a pretty decent night and morning so far. Charlie did great at daycare yesterday, and then again at home. He slept pretty well. And this morning he downed 4 oz of formula before quietly playing in his pack n play while daddy got ready for work.

Aberzombie's Really Grim Fairy Tales
The Knight and the Fairy Princess
Once upon a time, the brave knight Sir Brandon was travelling through the ancient, mysterious Forest of Charms. He came upon a clearing, in the midst of which was a clear pool of water. As he bent to take a drink, from the water rose a beautiful fairy princess. So dazzling was appearance, that Sir Brandon was blinded!
Unfortunately, once blinded he stumbled and fell into the water, where the weight of his armor dragged him down to the bottom. As he struggled against drowning, the fairy princess swam down to help him. In his panic, he stabbed her with his dagger.
They both died.
The end.
Here's hoping your today is better than your yesterday was, Moorluck.
I don't know what I was thinking. I put my hair into a loose knot thi morning and instead of fastening it with hair sticks or combs I used bobby pins.....I've already had to grab a few before they ended up becoming projectile weapons. Wisdom fail.
Today is study for finals day. I have two finals tomorrow and one Thrusday morning, so all day today is nothing but study, study, study.
I hope the rest of you are having a better day that that. :)

Wisdom fail. I do not understand. I have thick naturally wavy hair. Bobby pins are insufficient to hold it in place. Insufficient to the point that they tend to be thrown out at a fairly high velocity when my hair tries to escape its confines. It's not a common problem. Happens occasionally in my family. I've only met a couple of other women with similar issues with hair pins.
I guess I'd have to see the hair to understand. I'm black, so I've not seen many hairpins go flying in my household unless someone's process was reaching the end of it's lifespan.

Yeah, it's a very different texture of hair. I was always fascinated by my cousins' hair when I was younger for just that reason, that it was so different from mine or my sisters. My middle sister has really fine straight hair, and my youngest sister has wavy hair, but coarser texture than mine, so it doesn't turn hairpins into weapons. : )

I am hoping today is the day my shipment ships, but expecting it to be Friday.

So, today at work they had a Christmas thing, complete with a Santa Claus and choir. Some dude singing downstairs reminded me of an old term I once heard wrt musical ability - strangling the cat.
The weather is so bi-polar out in the Southwest. It's grey, cold and damp outside this morning. When I awoke, I though Las Vegas was replaced by soggy boggy London.
Weird.

It was pouring rain in L.A. yesterday, and chilly.

Picking out an avatar is work! and work I had enough at work I was quite pleased with myself at work today, we had a big project meeting with the boss's boss's boss. I had to report that my team achived nothing and did not reach any of it's milestones but I was able to present it in a way that everyone agreed we did a good job :-)
Well done. That is the sort of stuff I do alot of as a marketeer. Make stuff look better. Distract people from the ugly stuff and make them look at the pretty stuff.
