But can you imagine the crapstorm on the forums if they did turn up in pathfinder?
I've seen PF do just as "risque", and I find his work more inspiring than WAR.

It's all good; got hide function now for the biennial "this cover is nasty" thread.

In other news, my genealogically-inclined family has dug up some more dirt on some of our relatives. I got this e-mail message today:
Your grandfather got to thinking about your comment about Typhoid Mary Mallon. It occurred to him that there is at least one more infamous Mallon – a Kevin Mallon – who took part in the first successful helicopter prison break over in Ireland several years ago. Makes my heart swell with pride!
I had to dig further, and found the following information:
In 1971, IRA operatives Kevin Mallon and J.B. O'Hagan, as well as IRA Chief of Staff Seamus Twomey were incarcerated at Mountjoy Prison under suspicion of terrorism. Two years later, a group of IRA operatives (accompanied by an unknown man, possibly an American CIA agent) stole a helicopter and broke them out. After the breakout from Mountjoy, Kevin Mallon was arrested, imprisoned, and escaped at least two more times from two different prisons. A band called The Wolfe Tones wrote a song about the incident in 1973.
So, along with mad scientists, mobsters, mythical demon-blooded giants, prehistoric Irish cave-dwellers, rebels, and passive disease carriers, my lineage now includes terrorists. Positively Lovecraftian, that.
Nice. I do the research on my family history. Had a relative show up in the 1870 prison records from WV State Pen. Never looked up why. Had another that was in Buffalo Bill's Traveling Show, and yet another branch snipped off too early when a young married couple was heading west and killed by a drunken indian.
Family members are always looking for rich, famous, or notorious relatives.

The more I read stuff posted on facebook, typically political rants by people, the more I wonder why so many people have their proverbial heads stuck in the sand.
I just scratch my head in wonder and amazement. It's not that I think I am always right. It's not that I don't want to see another viewpoint. It's that so many see things from only one side and jump to the most insane and extreme positions and then post it as if it was the gospel truth. I see this from all sides. Then others chime in like mindless little yes men to agree and like a comment that has no basis in reality.
It make me want to rip my hair out.

I've got this guy in my family tree, but that's about it. Great-great-great-uncle or something.

Ah Christmas Carols! You have come forth in your meme-y borginess to colonize my forebrain!
clears throat
'Oh little town of Butcher shop ......'
(Beth Laham means 'meat house' in Hebrew, always makes me snicker)
I remember hearing it meant "bread house". Which is just as funny.
