It doesn't look like anything yet.
It's like the monster in a good horror movie - leaving it unseen let's your imagination fill in the details. Based on that, I can't wait to play a rainbow pega-quadricorn with +5 horseshoes of "you better believe you're getting an ass-whuppin."

Is there any other industry where the release of a new product triggers an inundation of "advice" from customers about how to avoid basic and obvious pitfalls, combined with ultimatums about how the product should be before the consumer agrees to buy it?
"You're building a new model of car? Better make sure it has wheels. Can't have a car without wheels."
"I prefer a motorcycle experience myself, so I don't think you should make a car. Make a motorcycle instead."
"Please tell me you're not going to do the whole 4-wheels thing. I'm so sick of that..."

My favorites are the opinions stated as facts and/or the complete lack of perspective.
"Recharge mechanics don't work" - Tell me more! Wait, what's that. By "don't work" you mean "I don't like them"? With such a well-reasoned argument, how could we not take that advice seriously.
"I Won't Play if There's PVP" - Holy crap, seriously? You, random person on the internet, won't play the game if we do that?!! Well, s#%*, you're by far our most important customer, and you'd better believe we'll jump through every hoop possible to make you happy.
And, of course, my personal favorite...
"Ryan Dancy raped my dog and everyone on the internets should hate him" - We're sorry to see your still butt-hurt over imaginary incidents and your inflated sense of importance. That said, your 45th straight angry side swipe at the guy who made Paizo's success possible has finally convinced us that he is an evil, unrepentent monster, and must be killed with maximum force.

In the event that the PF MMO comes to fruition and doesn't suck, I might end up having to get in on that guild.
This is all based on the game not sucking, naturally.
And actually getting finished. ;) I hope it does, but many have not.
EDIT: nekkid hope to finish!!
If you're nekkid, you'd BETTER finish. Otherwise, why bother being nekkid in the first place?

Damn! You've got to admire the tenacity, I guess.

You know I have never factored a time difference into a game world. I wonder what the time difference betwixt varisia and say Nex is? Not that it would matter in 90% of the games out there.
So how is your evening going?

I would bid for that dog. Or, as I suppose, for its remains.

This. Especially the Dancy hate which seems to stem from him somehow 'splitting the party' by making the OGL and allowing Pathfinder to exist. YHWH forbid we should have an open-source rule set I would be logging a lot more hours in MMOs and spending nothing on TTRPGs if the OGL hadn't happened.
As for MMOs , they are enjoyable as long as you realize they aren't TTRPGs. You can't compare them fairly, it's apples and oranges. Both have strengths and weaknesses. I enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork you find in a MMO (as long as you have good friends to game with). I enjoy the open-imagination and role playing of TTRPGs. I think we could have fun in virtual Golarion

I thought about it.... It looks like I am a masochist, I support the Waratahs in Rugby Union,St George in the Rugby League, Sydney in the Australian Rules Footbal, The Redskins in the NFL, The Celtics in the NBA. I dislike soccer because its a hipsters game and I like to tell people that like soccer that it is a wanky hipsters game.
I am not a fan of Marvel or DC and far prefer 2000AD give me Dread or Strontium Dog over Wolverine or Batman any day.
My favourite RPG of all time was Role Master, and I loved playing in the Middle Earth setting.
I like 70-80s British comedy, Dads Army, The Young Ones, The Goodies, Monty Python being my favourites.
I love Archaeology, Palaeontology, Astrophysics and Astronomy and will talk at length about them.
So all in all I have set myself up for a lifetime of pain.

Well clearly they are going to be able to make a game that appeals to all possible play styles, desires and wants, no matter how niche or outlandish.
Just like they did with PFRPG.

My favorites are the opinions stated as facts and/or the complete lack of perspective.
I love how in these situations you get people reeling off questions or spouting out facts without first making any effort to find the answers or clarify the facts themselves.
“Is it going to be f2p?” Read the FAQ.
“Is pvp going to be allowed?” Read the FAQ.
“Is it set in Varisia?” Read the FAQ.
“Can I subscribe?” Read the FAQ.
“Clearly they won’t do x.” Read the opening post.
“No, but they really can’t mean x.” They do, read the opening post.
“Well I’m an expert on all things and I know x isn’t possible, they must mean y.” ....
