Woot! Nekkid paranoia.

The Exchange

Maybe you got one of those limited edition flavors. Seems they come out with news ones in Japan ever few months and may only be sold in limited locations.

The Exchange

JN's?

The Exchange

I am sure they are talking about you.

"I bet he thinks we are talking about him."

Scarab Sages

My hotel gives you 5 drink coupons per week for use at the bar - each worth 300 yen. I used up 3 last night.

The Exchange

yes well, was it any good?

Japanese Nationals. Some of the folks on the base refer to them that way, I guess to lessen confusion. You can't just say "the locals" since there are a good many other nationalities who are locals around here. Still the predominate are the JNs.

The draft Beer.

Yup. Decent stuff.

Scarab Sages

I'd love to make a pilgramage to Sapporo, Japan, where they brew the stuff, but it's at least an hour by plane.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, time for my miniblitz to end. I'm getting hungry. It's Saturday here, so I'm taking the day off and plan to do a little shopping for gifts.

I've been verified. Tome of Horrors Complete, come to papa!

What about Kirin Ichiban?

I love Hobgoblin Ale.

congrats to solnes landing a career job!

Still, it's weird to see the package with the Japanese writing. I keep wondering if they'd jokingly have it spell out something like "F##& you, stinky American".

Take a picture. I will tell you.

(It probably does. :P)

So, our new website is finally up, and so is the sign over our store. Let's hope this brings in the business. Everyone cross yer fingers and/or toes and possibly other appendages (prehensile included).

Congrats to Solnes! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Best of luck to CH and Taig on their interviews. Be sure to be ready to say what you'd do if you were shrunk to the size of a pencil and dropped into a blender. I hear that's a popular question nowadays.

Hang in there, zombie. You'll be home before you're sober.

Jess, how's the house?

Heathy, weird story. Shaken, not stirred. I'm glad the pup was OK.

And unless I misremember my Modern Physics classes, Einstein didn't say things couldn't be faster than the speed of light, simply that they could not travel precisely at light speed - problem being, how do they get faster than light speed? Interesting findings. Everyone wants to try them again.

Howdy to everyone else, and thanks to Karelzarath for the fix and to Sara Marie for pointing out some glaring omissions in our website. You guys are awesome and your support is heartwarming.

By "our new web-site" I thought you meant your store. The link is to the paizo page. Is your store a paizo store?

*confused*

AHHHH!

*really confused*

Still getting the paizo blog page.

Weird! I was having that problem until I put the "http://" before our website name in the URL, but now it goes to our store page when I click on my post. Your copy of it is still broken, natch.

*still confused*

I haven't been around much here or on fb. Are you guys now Frog God games?

Sorry, but it is late, and my brain is addled. :)

I might need to leave the site with this tab and come back.

Nope, a friend and I run a little toy store here locally. We're not a big national thing or anything. Maybe refresh the screen? I hope you get it working, not that it's anything huge. But it's ours.

Doodlebug toys!

I closed my browser and decided to restart my computer. It worked!

Cute kid.

I had refreshed several times prior.

*shrug*

Doodlebugs iz us! Kid is a generic pic, but cute.

Congrats on the site and hope some money rolls in. Me, I'm bedding down.

Adios.

Mrgh.

Can I be of assistance?

Grand Lodge

Make me a sammich!

Ok, you're a sammich.

Grand Lodge

Huh. I don't feel sammichy...

Go Doodlebug Toys!

Remind me to stop by if I'm ever pillaging in MO (wherever that is... silly Americans and your unwillingness to write whole words...)

Poor Doodlebug AB even Solnes has a new job.

Speaking of my twix bar - it tastes different here. Apparently, they use a different brand of chocolate.

Everything is different in Japan. I really want to get Japanese Kit Kat in all sorts of various funky flavors.

They probably are remarking on your strangeness. It's probably nothing personal.

No one has shot the zombie yet? Weird, we must call the defense department.

What? I have a job--I stand outside of Doodlebug Toys and bring in customers with my charm, wit and joie de vivre!

*yawn* Morning

Well, odd night. Power went off at 3am, waking my wife up (she needs white noise to sleep) and the humidly woke me up soon after (we are having some really muggy weather here for some reason-95% humidy) and the AC was gone. I went back on at 4am, but my sleep cycle was trashed. Then I had some really fuxed up dreams about ghosts, and people shooting at my house with rifles. I am just starting to wake up, which is very odd for me (10am??)

Congrats all for new jobs/storefronts/websites/interviews/etc. etc.

Sorry if I missed anything, it's been a reallly hectic week.
