Depending on exact construction you might be still able to use it, even with broken hinge.

Currently even with the oven door closed, there is a gap. Maybe if my dad removed that offending hinge in question...
I never got into buffy or firefly. While I'm old enough to have seen those when they came out, we didnt have cable untill we moved from the farm late in my teens. So I never saw them when they aired.
I didn't see them until well after they'd gone off the air, thanks to friends who had the DVDs.
Yeah both of the series had already ended before I watched them. Angel too actually.

If you want to get nit picky you needed to italicize the tittle of the shows. You put a period after Buffy but then followed it with "But". Also the sentence structure is suspect.

Same. Our TV's dial growing up had 13 numbers on it, and about half of them had stations, so all of these shows were old news by the time I watched them.
